Their main dish Bo Ne was absolutely spectacular, definitely my all time favorite steak places to dine at. The customer service is amazing, very nice and pleasing servers.

It has been a long while since I came here that I almost forgot their name haha. My friend who is local to the area took me and my friends to try out Ngoc Suong after hanging out around Grand Century.Me and one of my friends both ordered the bánh bèo, something I have not eaten in a long time. When I first looked at it I thought it wasn't anything special, but after eating it I became addicted and almost ordered a second tray of them. I see that some other reviews just thought the bánh bèo was okay, but I guess something about that day had me really liking it. Maybe it's not as good as it used to be now, but I thought it was good. The establishment is definitely an older vibe, you won't see too many young people eating here unless they're with their family. But if you're feeling hungry, this place is a decent option!

Pros: Pork chop was tender, thin, and flavorful. Bone was super thin as well. Soup was good, didn't taste too salty, oily, or rich. Cons: Served with a dull butter knife. The rice plate could use more veggies and a tomato slice.Cash only. The inside ambiance makes you feel like you're inside in Vietnam. Lots of colorful hanging lanterns and traditional hats. The venue is quite small with 7 booths good for parties of 4 and 2 tables good for parties of 8. They have high chairs for kids. The waitress does not speak English but the gentleman behind the cash register quickly stepped in to take our order. Looks like they have a protocol for English only speaker customers. But of course there was a confusion on the order. I don't read VIETNAMESE so I assumed "grilled pork" and "grilled pork chop" would be the bone in or out difference. Apparently per that gentleman, there's no bone out option. That's when he noticed my orders missing egg and brought over a plate to make up.

In the plaza across the street from Little Saigon.Came on Memorial day for an early dinner and it was empty except for one table.4/5 - Get their bo ne, which comes sizzling with meat, two eggs, pate and fries. The filet is tender, don't let it cook too long on the skillet.4/5 - Beef stew came with a good amount of meat and tendon. Hearty flavor and broth.4/5 - Nem nuong pork spring rolls. Has a crunchy eggroll shell on the inside. There's a large karaoke space in the back, I'm guessing it gets lit at night on the weekends. The waitress was spending half her time trying to login to Hulu on the big TV in the restaurant, but couldn't figure out how to do it, so she calls someone (likely her husband) on facetime and he's trying to help her. She still couldn't figure how to input the email and pswd. So one of the older guys at the other table comes over to help and they're literally spending 30 minutes yelling at each other, yelling at the guy on the phone, yelling at the TV. I almost got up to help them but I was enjoying my dinner and a show. They were too busy yelling at each other, so I didn't end up helping them on my way out and legend says, they're still trying to login to this day.

Ordered the Bo Ne Dac Biet. The filet mignon was very small and on the chewier side, and I chose to eat it with A1 sauce because it didn't have a super amazing natural meat flavor. The bread here is top notch 10/10, big, fluffy and crispy on the outside. The fries on top were good and crispy too. My family and I ate here for breakfast so while the meal was filling for a morning meal, it definitely would not have sufficed for dinner since the meat portion was so small. They also give you a simple salad with romaine lettuce, a vinegar dressing and a slice of tomato. I wouldn't go out of my way for this spot but it's alright if you're craving bo ne. I'd try the new york steak one next time instead though.

- aesthetic: this place has a dedicated karaoke space that many aunties and uncles might rent out for a party. - service: fast and attentive - food: 1. bun bo hue, bot chien, banh bot loc: if you're craving any of these, then choose another place. Apparently, they don't serve bun bo hue even though yelp suggests they do. And when I asked for my next two options they said they were out, and this was on a Tuesday, at 5:30 PM. 2. banh beo: this was okay. kind of doughy and would've tasted better with the addition of protein toppings. 3. bo ne: this is pretty much an American/french dish. It was an interesting experience but if I find myself craving eggs, steak, bread, and a salad, I would make this myself or go to an American place. 4. mi quang: definitely not the best. it was very bland. I would not get this here again. TL;DR: this is a great place for Asian aunties and uncles who want Asian food and a decked-out karaoke bar.

The food is good, but they cheap out on the portions. My Bo Ne only had 4 pieces of fries, 2 mushrooms, and half a table spoon of pate. Sometimes they blast the music and sing old school vietnamese music. It felt like a club, except clubs play good music and you just hear horrible singing here.

SUMMARY Something a little different from all the HITW pho shops in SJ. FOOD 3* Came here for sizzling beef and egg platter (bo-ne). Kind of hard to find outside So Cal and SJ. Honestly, not the best version I had but points for actually serving something different. Worth trying if ur craving it, but don't expect fireworks. SERVICE 3.5* Not much English but our server was nice, attentive. Then again we were like the only people there and she was the only server during an early lunch, around 11 on a week day. LOCATION 2.5* Inside a crowded Azn retail plaza. Fair sized lot, but really crowded. Little hard to find parking. The restaurant was dimly lit, windows were covered so. Or a lot of light. Kins if old and dingy looking but par for the course for they of spot. RECOMMENDATIONS Worth trying th bo-ne if ur looking for it. Only other nearby comp was the old Lion Plaza food court, and that place was in shambles!

This place has more flies than you can imagine. Weather was 90 outside and they don't even turn on the AC..Food tasted terrible. Won't come back for sure.

Rounding up since service was good. They checked on us every 15 minutes especially since we had been waiting almost an hour for the remainder of our party. We ordered a few appetizers: -CRISPY TOFU: unique spin! Buttery salted egg sauce below super crispy tofu bites -BANH IT RAM: one of my favorite apps, chewy little dumpling on top of a layer of crispy glutinous rice. Entrees: -CRISPY NOODLE NEST: You can select your protein option between beef, chicken, seafood. We ordered two (beef, seafood) and both were good. The noodles were perfectly fried and the sauce had a great flavor. Vegetables, meat, and seafood were cooked well. Recommend! -BO NÉ: It was our first time there and most of us ordered their specialty dish "Bo Ne" which is a steak hot plate that includes an egg, pate, sliced onions, a few French fries, side salad, and bread to dip the sauce and egg. We asked for the difference between "Bo Ne" and "Bo Ne Dac Biet". The first one is filet mignon and the latter is with New York steak. We all chose the filet mignon version and it ended up being really chewy and not soft like filet mignon. Too hungry at that point so we nobody in our party questioned it. The steak is the main part of this dish and it was less than stellar so I definitely don't recommend getting this here. Bread wasn't very fresh either unfortunately.

Dishes like beef steak were okay but 20$ small clams had sand and smelled really bad and couldnt taste and eat it like in some other restaurants

Decent bo ne (sizzling beef plate) platter with alot of variety. The baguette that it comes with is very crusty yet still soft and pillowy inside. This dish also comes with a small side salad. Would come again for their bo ne If I was craving it and would come back again to try other dishes.
