I haven't been here for a long time so i decided to come back here to again the family style meals. Egg rolls was crispy but no flavors and fish sauce was bland. Thit kho was good at first bite but after not that good. Shrimps soup was kinda sour, i should've ordered catfish soup instead. Service and ambiance was nice.

Pretty big portions at this place. One of the frequent stops for this shopping plaza with a variety of dishes to choose from. I got the pad Thai which was about $19. It was quite large and I was only able to eat half and take the other half for dinner. There was a lot of chicken and some big shrimp in there was well. Service was very fast and efficient. The interior is a bit worn down but it was still quite nice. Overall great time eating here.

I would give this restaurant a zero star if Yelp had it. we dinned at Nha Trang restaurant on 03/23/2024. The food is so so, the environment is okay, the food/ambience are expected, no big deal here. The one star rating is given to the unknown extra $15 charged to my credit card on top of the total amount included tips (see the image). The receipt amount includes tips: $173.63 (the service charge $20.94) The charge to the credit card amount: $188.63 The diff is $15 I called the restaurant and asked what was the $15 charged for? The explanation was that it was an error when the cashier processed the bills. C'mon NT! They said I might have added the additional $15 tips. Huh? Please, don't excuse. This intentional/un-intentional error is not acceptable, so double check the credit card statement when you dine at NT restaurant.

My family and I usually come to this restaurant when we drive through San Jose, and it’s usually a good time. But the customer service has changed a lot since our last visit. I had a bad experience with one of the waiters. Before ordering, I tried to explain that I’m pescatarian. I don’t eat meat, but wanted to order a seafood dish. One of the ingredients wasn’t available and I was asked to order something different instead of making it without the missing item. I don’t understand Vietnamese well, so I ordered a different seafood dish based off the english translation on the menu. It turns out the translation wasn’t accurate and the waiter misunderstood my dietary needs, so a dish with meat was made instead. I let the waiter know the mistake, but instead of allowing me to re-order, he took the dish away and avoided our table when I tried to order again. So I had to ask a different waiter for help. He was very understanding of the situation and corrected the order, but the whole experience made me feel unwelcome, so I won’t be coming back.

I just can't quite give this place 5 stars even if the food was soooo delicious. The service was so terrible and god-awful that I may not come again. Lol. The reason I came was to show my children down memory lane where daddy and mommy ate when we dated 25 years ago. The food was good then, and it's still good now. My kids loved the bo loc lac. At first, we thought the fries might not match, but the fries were engulfed by my children. Lmao. And when I say children, my kids are already adults. They have their appetite! What my son and I really loved is the clay pot fish. So full of flavor and just the aroma alone made my tummy hungry! The lemongrass chicken was good at first bite, but afterward, it's too sweet. Thit nuong pork was a bit too thin. Could use a little more fat! Rice was soggy. All in all, good flavors and that old-fashioned authentic vietnamese service

Today I ate chicken sweet and sour hot pot (lẫu gà lá giang). I feel very uncomfortable to pay $1.50 for noodles per person. Of course, hotpot must have vegetables and noodles to go with it. In other Vietnamese restaurants, they only charge for noodles when customers order more and I totally agree with that additional charge. At Nha Trang restaurant, they charge upfront $1.50 and customers can order unlimited noodles. This way is not fair to those who don't order extra noodles like me. The nature of hotpot is to serve with vermicelli and vegetable. Charging like that is not honest with customers. $1.50 isn't worth much, but I really don't like this kind of business.

They served the food that we didn’t order without telling us before bring it out. Even though it doesn’t cost that much, but it’s not acceptable to do that. And the service is HORRIBLEEEE, and the attitude from the employees are worst.

Unlikely to order trays from here again. Despite confirming my 5PM Christmas Eve pickup the day before, my order was forgotten. Arriving at 5:20, the lady at the tray table couldn't find my order, causing delays. When I finally received the trays, their definition of "large" disappointed me as it was shallow and much smaller than anticipated. Since I was planning on serving the food on chafing trays at home for the party, I had to transfer the pad Thai to a standard medium tray just so that I could set the trays in. I also included a photo comparing their "large" tray to a standard large tray just to show the difference in size.

We were craving for family style meals that included the sweet and sour tamarind catfish soup and braised catfish in a clay pot. My friend who’s a local, recommended this place. We got:-sweet and sour tamarind catfish soup-braised cat fish clay pot-salt and pepper wings-shaken beef w pasta-pork spring rollsAll dishes tasted fantastic. Everything was so tasty. Reminds me of home. The pork spring rolls were huge! Each roll came with its own sauce. The locals compare the sauce equivalent to Brodard put I disagree. We were the first table to get seated when they opened at 5. When we left at 7:30, every single table was occupied including the tables outdoor. Definitely a staple restaurant that the locals go to.In the end, they gave us complimentary dessert. The dessert was herbal jelly with chia seeds.

Great food and service. I haven't been back in a few years, and I was craving some family-style dinner. So we ordered some takeout on Halloween day. They were still open during normal business hours. It was packed inside and still smelled great. Hopefully, we can dine inside again. It's definitely a must for family-style dinner. The only problem is that their menu on Yelp hasn't been updated, so if you call in, they will tell you that they no longer have those items, which defeats the purpose of having a menu. But overall, the staff and food always hit the spot

The family wanted to grab lunch here today. It wasn't too busy for a Sunday lunch; the wait wasn't long. Parking was packed.I think the food here is pretty solid and generous portions. For the hotpot, you could request more veggies, broth, and noodles. After payment, we were given a complimentary dessert. A cup of grass jelly and Basil Seeds kind of drink. It was refreshing.Unfortunately, I had to dock a few points. 1) The found table we were sitting was unstable. Every time one of us stood up to use the ladder to scoop from the hotpot, the table would tilt to one side. 2) It doesn't feel clean; the table was kind of sticky, and the menu was so old that it was hard to read, 3) there were two items I wanted to order but they were out of inventory.
