It makes me sad to write this review. I used to love going to NOVA and now I don't know if I'd ever go again. This place is a good time & the ambiance/service used to be awesome. It's not the same anymore. I booked a table on Saturday for an event purchased 4 bottles & paid about 2k after deposit, tax, & tip. Lord this was the beginning to a NIGHTMARE!!! They need to do a better job with their bottle service management. They had my table confused with 2 other names. I'm not sure how this is possible, the host attending me was saying that it was the other party's fault (playing the blame game) very unprofessional & honestly IDC who's fault it is just fix it!! After I purchased my bottles & was seated they literally wanted us to share our table or move elsewhere because two parties with a similar name came & they didn't know who was who. How ridiculous. I showed them my confirmation & deposit text which helped a little but still how embarrassing. After getting upset & wanting to leave the manager Ricky was trying to be helpful which I appreciate & asked if we would still like to stay but at this point I was just so baffled. I waited until midnight for them to resolve this issue. Then ended up going somewhere else. Not only was it my business partner's birthday but I had brought out my team, this was very unpleasant. Also I would like to mention our bottle girl who was helping was super sweet & the manager was also nice but it was just the confusion/process & embarrassment which ruined the whole experience. I hope they find a better way to book their tables.

It was the worst experience ever. We boooked a table for my boyfriend's birthday and payed for 4 bottles. At 12am they tell us we have to go for no reason and they ruined our whole night. They are very unorganized. Don't book a table with them.

Nova fits the bill of a club in San Jose to a tee. It has a decent amount of space, bottle service with small sections for VIP folks and drinks that are a touch more expensive that they probably should be. I got there around 11:30ish, paid a cover ($20) and stood in line for about 10 minutes. Upon breaching the threshold I saw the club was around 60-70% full. Typical club behavior lol. A few folks behind me left the line due to the wait but I was meeting friends therefore I was relatively committed. I believe it was reggaeton night and although I didn't hear that as a main music type, they did sprinkle in some of the classics. The DJ was okay. They were playing a lot of the older hip hop club songs like swag surf, no hands etc. but the DJ would only play maybe 45 secs max of a song then try to mix a new song. A word to the DJs out there, if the club is vibing with a track LET IT RUN. The drinks were good and the bartenders were attentive. I didn't have a bad night but it could've been a little better but it's also a club in SJ so I'm neutral? I can't say don't check it out but I'd say bring a fun group.

If you are from out of town I would skip this spot. It seems like it could be decent enough, but the kids that go here on the weekends are just obnoxious. In the span of about 2 hours I watched 4 different tiny white chicks turn full "Karen" on both staff and regular people. Its a club for entitled brats who may be above 21 in age, but act much younger mentally.

To enter, it's $20 (cash) per person and the drinks are overpriced. This place is too tiny and crowded to where it was not enjoyable. Music was awful and the remixing was unbearable. Staff is decent. Literally go anywhere else downtown for a better time.

Went to Nova for the first time this weekend.The bartender made my drink just the way I like it, music and vibes were on point. I had a great time and security guards are so cute here! Lol I'll be back

Pick pocketed here on a Saturday night along with everyone else in vip or bottle service, phones, debit cards, passports etc were all taken from woman's purses. I'm assuming guys will try to talk to you to distract you and in the midst their friend reaches into your purse to take . By the end of the night all the girls and men started screaming that their wallets, cells, passports, ID were all taken. When confronting people they smirked - pretty much the own people who rob will try to assist you in helping. This guy said " yeah I know people who were feeling up on people all night to rob" then laughed aka he and his friends because there's no way in hell you could tell in a dark club. Phones were instant disabled. Staff here is nice and helpful but fuck it's not worth the risk and security issues of theft. My heart goes out to the people who were robbed, I had mg phone in my hand the whole night so they didn't get me but everyone around me was robbed $1k+ in phone, cards , cash etc security didn't do nothing they can't really. But honestly sensors before and after anywhere would be appreciated so many criminals come here and rob anyone can enter with a gun, huge knife etc and they don't even care or notice .they robbed phones and huge ass pocket knife from us. I overheard couples screaming that all their cash cards passports were taken

The server did not know how to make LITE.It tasted literally like water.When we asked them politely they didn’t care at all. Definitely not visiting this club or buying drinks from here!Please take beers or bottled drinks if you go here.
