Disappointing Experience at Nuoc Mia: Poor Service and Wrong Order

I recently visited Nuoc Mia, expecting to enjoy a refreshing drink after hearing good things about their offerings. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant due to the rude attitude of the lady running the store and the incorrect order I received.

Upon entering Nuoc Mia, I noticed the place was moderately busy, which is often a good sign of a popular establishment. However, my interaction with the lady at the counter quickly dampened my initial optimism. From the outset, her demeanor was curt and unfriendly. I understand that managing a busy store can be stressful, but basic courtesy and politeness are essential in customer service, and she displayed neither.

I placed my order for a specific drink I had been looking forward to trying. After paying, I waited patiently for my order. When I finally received my drink, I discovered it was just plain water instead of the beverage I had ordered. Mistakes happen, and I was prepared to address the issue politely.

I approached the counter again and explained that I had received the wrong drink, expecting the mistake to be corrected promptly. However, to my astonishment, the lady brusquely told me that she didn’t have time to make the correct drink. Her tone was dismissive and unprofessional, making it clear she had no intention of rectifying the error.

I found this response unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected to receive what I ordered, or at the very least, an apology and a quick fix. Instead, I was met with rudeness and a refusal to provide the service I had paid for. The lady was quick enough to take my money but displayed a complete lack of interest in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing the correct order.

The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth, quite literally and figuratively. The lack of customer care and the blatant disregard for service standards were disappointing. It's clear that the lady running Nuoc Mia prioritizes speed and turnover over quality service and customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, my visit to Nuoc Mia was marred by an unpleasant interaction with the staff and receiving the wrong order. Customer service is a critical component of any business, and the attitude displayed by the lady at this store was a stark reminder of how it should not be done. I hope the management of Nuoc Mia takes these issues seriously and addresses them to improve their service quality. Until then, I would hesitate to return or recommend this place to others.

If you want to drink sugarcane juice, I feel this is a place that sells quality sugarcane juice, the large size is really large. I think they add sugar to the sugarcane juice because it has very little sugarcane flavor and is a bit sweet because of the sugar (I'm not sure) but you should try it.

The place is inside the food court. Love the sugar cane. It is yummy and fresh. The price is also reasonable. I always stop by when I am around the area.

Don't come here. They very dishonest. The lady gave me attitude when I asked about the price and how small the size is. The that tea cost $7 which is way more expensive for the small size I got. And the sugar cane was mixed with water

Best sugarcane juice in San Jose. Price is less compared to other spots. Juice is fresh and not watered down. Friendly service, there were occasions where I had gotten more quantity than I can carry, they provide easy to carry bags. Their coconut juice, Thai tea are also great.

They (owners/employees) don't understand English. Explaining what you would like and what you don't want added is a task. (Eg - one of the employees kept insisting to get kumquat added, when I kept saying No kumquat)I bought the Large size sugarcane juice for $7.50, asked for light ice. The juice tasted very diluted and tbh tasted like a winter melon juice instead. It was way off from the sweetness of a sugar cane.

Try to go here on a Tuesday at 1pm during their business hours but they were closed. WTH.

I just bought sugar cane juice from this shop. I always ask for no ice and no adding kumquats . I usually buy sugar cane from this shop but this time the sugar cane tastes terribly, not fresh and diluted with water. I was planning to buy more to go for my family but I was very disappointed with their way of doing business unethically.
