Very noisy restaurant, food was ok but a little expensive for the portion and quality. Good and attentive wait staff. Not much on decor, didn't have the Italian flare!

Came all the way here only for them to be closed. Came at 7 google says they close at 10 waste of time
Loved everything about this place. Both the Veal Veronica and Pollo Saltimbocca were perfect. Great atmosphere and Giovanni was an excellent server. Will go back whenever I'm in San Jose.

Seemed like a sports bar at first, but really fantastic Italian food, well seasoned, had a green vegetable included, feel healthy 👍

Everything from the appitizers to the main pasta and meat was delicious. Especially the lamb was the best lamb I've ever eaten.

Food is an excellent, authentic taste of Italy. Everything I've ordered was to my liking, and I had no issues with undercooked food. Nothing was left to be desired.
Service was attentive, but extremely rushed at times. We felt like it was a race to get through each course of the meal.
Atmosphere is nice. Rustic, comfortable vibes.

This place was highly recommended so we finally got to try it out. The atmosphere is great and the service superb, however I was unimpressed with the food itself (except for one of the following dishes):
INSALATA CESARE: It was good for a Caesar salad, didn't feel uninspired as it usually does in some.other establishments. However it was nothing special.
PENNE SANTA ROSALIA: A very generous plate of pasta with delicious eggplant pieces. I enjoyed it but probably would not order it again.
TORTELLINI CAPRICCIOSI: Delicious and by far the best dish of the night. The pasta was fresh and both the filling and toppings were amazing. I'd recommend it very much. Also the portion is quite generous.
For dessert we ordered the pistacchio cheesecake and i honestly wish we hadn't. It looks pretty but none of its three layers have any substance to them. The top one is.ok because it's dusted with powdered sugar, but after that the cheesecake was mediocre at best and the pistacchio was quite bland. Also the raspberry and chocolate sauce didn't make much sense to me and I would've preferred they hadn't been on my place as they made the dish even more confusing.
The best part of the whole dessert was a very little almond cookie they added as a garnish along with the whipped cream, that I think was amazing and I would've been happy to pay for a bunch of those instead of the cake.
