Got completely ripped off. Placed an order for a Mixed Berry cake the morning of pick up for $50 and received a completely different flavor cake in a smaller size. It was MINI. It’s hard to package the wrong cake- part of me feels they gave me a smaller size and different cake than what I ordered on purpose. The cake was also lopsided…never have I seen a professional bakery make a lopsided cake. Also the cake now is $50 when a few years ago it was only $30 for the big size.

I ordered a birthday cake well in advance, expecting it to be ready on time for a special celebration. Unfortunately, not only was the cake not ready when promised, but there was no prior communication for the screw up. It was a disappointing experience on a day that was supposed to be joyful. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for any event where timing is important!

We pre-ordered cake for birthday and it was stale and stinking bad. We had to throw the whole cake. This location sells only stale food. Very disappointed as our special day being spoiled….

I’ve been coming here for years for all of my events cake needs
Today I went to a location in Santa Clara and I ordered a coffee and some pastries. I drove back to my area and I realized I didn’t like my coffee after I took two sips You could tell it was new So I came here to ask them if I can trade it for another drink and I provided my receipt I was kind and asked nicely , as someone who’s worked in these settings I understand how mean customers can impact your day.
The lady at the front immediately gave me an ugly attitude She looked at me receipt and said “you added caramel to your maple drink, that’s disgusting” And I let her know it was just bitter and not sweet at all
She just kept saying I need to go back to the Santa Clara location and she can’t fix it for me or change for another drink .
After today , this location doesn’t deserve loyalty This lady shouldn’t work in a customer facing role is she lacks what a customer facing employee should have .
If it were my company , I’d prefer not to have her on my team
Even my 8 year old said “wow she had an attitude”
I didn’t get her name But if you see this face Beware ?
There w were no trays or boxes out and staff was unconcerned as people were struggling to get their pastries. When people were asking they were only giving one box at a time, which caused a big traffic jam with people paying, people getting boxes, and people getting food. They had workers in crop tops working around hot beverages and food soooo not safe or sanitary.
Extremely rude Counter staff, with unnecessary attitude… when people cut in front of you in line and you ask where the line is they say they don’t know? Don’t know how that’s possible but… We asked for our pastries to go, They handed us to go bags and walked away… Told me to self serve coffee, but both carafes were empty- no coffee and no cream on the counter. We are from this area and used to love coming to this place, but now visiting from Oregon and definitely not a welcoming experience…?

A little busy on a Sunday lunch time but parking is plenty. Lots of cakes & pastries. The Peach iced tea & chocolate crunchy pretzel were both not too sweet.
