Went here on a recommendation from a coworker and got the oxtail pho. We had a group of 8 but service was still very quick. While it was a bit pricy compared to other pho places, the meat was pretty tender and the overall flavor was very good. I would definitely come back.

Came here this morning based on all the great reviews. I will have to agree with all the positive reviews. Great clean tasting pho broth with perfectly cooked pho noodles equals a great bowl of pho. The one thing that stands out during my dining is the kindness this establishment shows towards the less fortunate. I saw a homeless man walked in, they showed such care that they asked him to have a seat, brought him out a bowl of pho. Kindness like this make this place stands above all others. Great to see kind caring people still exists in the world. Props to the owner of Pho Duoi Bo.

Didn't get to try the food because they had a wait-list they didn't reference. They are disorganized. They directed our party of two to put our name on a wait-list. They had some open tables but figured they wanted some breathing room since it was a busy Saturday night. We stood by the door with the other 2 parties on the waiting list. After 10 minutes of waiting, another couple walked in and they were not on the waitlist and were seated immediately. When I brought this up, the staff didn't address the issue. Maybe their waitlist should be by the register where the staff was and not on the window by the door.

Very good Pho. The broth is delicious. You really do not need to add anything to this broth. The Honeydew Smoothie is also very good. Great Pho with some fried eggs highly recommended here. The server was very nice and the food came out pretty quickly.

Walked in around 1:30 pm on a Saturday and it was somewhat busy, but we were seated immediately for a party of 2. They specialize in pho so practically the entire menu is pho. We ordered the special oxtail pho combination $22.75 and pho kobe torched on the side $22.75. Clean, quality, flavorful broth. Didn't taste salty, but I felt thirsty after since I'm super sensitive to salt. I like that they don't charge extra for fresh noodles. Reasonable portions. Quality meat. The kobe beef was our favorite meat. Very flavorful, not too fatty, but fully cooked, maybe should have asked if they can just lightly torch the meat. Nice clean small/medium sized restaurant. Tables of all sizes are nicely spaced out. Service was minimal as expected. They take your order, leave a water carafe, drop off your food, pay at the front register when finished. Easy parking in the large shared parking lot. Overall, quality pho with reasonable portions at premium prices

Pricey pho and it was unfortunately mid.
Got the pho Kobe ($23). The meat was wasn't that tender and it was cut too thick. I feel pho dao has better meat quality. Broth was just ok. I feel pho San Jose has more flavorful broth but obviously not as clean. Also got a side of torched kobe ($12). Tasted fine but again def not Kobe much less a5 or anything near and was still charged insane prices. After tax and tip, the meal came out to $40 for just me.

Overall, it's not bad but the price point doesn't match the quality. Prob wouldn't make a detour to come back any time soon.

Best broth I’ve had in a long time! Minimal choices if you want veggies. Staff busy.

I think this place has one of the best tasting pho around the San Jose area. Parking could be better but food is excellent. They are very generous with the amount you get for the dollar.

I really enjoyed the pho soup here. It is super rich, deep and flavorful, but it's a bit fattier and oilier in a good way. The soup was really tasty, but it was hard to finish the soup due to how rich it was. Ordered the #4 pho filet mignon rare steak. Nice portion of noodles, soup, and meat. They add the rare steak in the soup, but I prefer to ask for the steak on the side raw. What surprised me most was that the bean sprouts were pre-cooked or steamed, lovely touch! You can choose between thin or fat noodles, I usually choose thin for my preference. I went during lunch time on Saturday and the place was PACKED, but definitely worked the wait. The waitlist is inside the store, just right of the entrance.

Crazy overpriced. $22.50 for very little meat. Kobe beef is actually just meh thick cut flank steak.

The soup is actually pretty good, but Pho Kim Long have the same thing for less (and more meat), while high quality pho is better served at Pho Dang.
