Bun Bo Hue was spicy, veggies were fresh. If it included the bone, then it would be perfect. The Bo Luc Lac was tasty.

Stopped in this place while I was down in the area. Hiking for the day. Surprisingly, it was a delicious, fast and well-serviced restaurant. Walked in to find updated decor. Multiple staff members willing and to quickly help. The food was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are large.

Tasted a bit salty and felt like they put MSG in the soup.

The regular pho was well done, generous portions of ingredients & very hot broth for a cold rainy day. Might be too much msg / salt. Felt terribly thirsty after, literally my throat was parched less than half hour after. The pork belly rice was delicious according to brother-in-law.Service was brisk & a bit abrupt, otherwise adequate.

This place is so good! Everything we had here was great. The pho broth was so umami. Their luc lac was flavorful and tender and their fried rice was a crowd

A nice little Vietnamese restaurant with a small yet comprehensive menu. We came on a Sunday noon and it was basically full house. Note that if you pay cash they'll give you a 4% discount.

I was so looking forward to dine here by a friend's invitation whom have tried the Pho after her gifted doordash order from her niece. Needless to say I was a little disappointed about the hype when it comes to my dining experience here. It wasn't necessarily bad nor good - it's just mediocre Pho in my personal opinion. I just hope this is a one time failed as the chef may had a bad hair day, maybe? This restaurant is by Hwy 85 & almost at Hillsdale exit so it's really far away from the central Vietnam town/hub of San Jose. I wouldn't go out of my way to have their Pho given there are better suited me options in nearby East San Jose/Vietnam town.Now....let's get a little more into Pho. Pho is all about the bone broth simmering, and the broth must be clear to achieve that true, authentic Pho flavor because it takes a lot of effort to get to that level. If the broth is cloudy, meaning they didn't simmer well, and skim off the foam, and shortcut the process and the spice to broth ratio is off. In addition, there were too much MSG for my taste so I got that Chinese food comma feeling and my thirst for water after dining here. My dining companion ordered Bun Bo Hue and also complained about the meat was too tough and it didn't taste as good compared to her previous experience. This maybe an option for such neighborhood when you're craving for Vietnamese Pho.

I tried out this place for the first time today on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. When I got there we were asked to sign in on the yelp check in they had available and was seated promptly. We ordered the 1. Pho Dac Biet 2. Bun Bo Hue 3. Fried Egg Rolls4. Vietnamese coffeeI recommend ALL of these items. The pho broth was very flavorful and isn't very oily like other places and the portions of meat and noodle was large (I ordered the small)The bun Bo hue was very spicy and had a citrus fish broth. I would definitely recommend if you can handle spicy foods The Vietnamese coffee was very strong and was nice to sip on while the ice melted The fried eggrolls were very crispy and light. They didn't come with the typical full lettuce leafs but included chopped lettuce and pickled vegetables Overall this place is a gem and I would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try

Bun Bo hue was ridiculously spicy for me. But I asked for less spicy broth and server obliged and got me a bowl of non spicy broth which I then added my noodles and meat into. So it worked out. I am happy they accommodated my request. I will return to try other dishes. There's enough parking outside. Inside is nice and clean interior chairs and tables. Christmas "tree" decor adorned a wall and compete with a Christmas tree in a corner. The ceilings are decorated with painted cultural hats.
