I've been eating their pho for years. True to its name, their pho is very good. Recently, I decided to try something else on their menu, Bun Cha Ca Thia La. It's a rice noodle soup with fried fish paste and fresh dill. I love the taste! The portion comes with slices of fresh white fish, fried tasty fish paste, tomato, fried tofu and pineapple. The broth is clear but rich flavor and delicious. It quickly becomes one of my favorites beside Bun Rieu from this place when I want to something light instead of beef pho.

The food was so good the pandan waffle went well with the soy milk, the daikon radish omelette was a must try and so was the Com bo luc lac. The food came out so fast and was delicious. This is in a food court. Dont expect anything fancy, but everything will taste authentic and scrumptious. Some other restaurants in the food court dont take credit cards but they do.

If you love authentic TRUE VIETNAMESE tasting pho come here ! It is so delicious and nutritious and it leaves you wanting more. The number 14 is filet mignon with rice and vegetable sides and mini pho broth soup. Impeccable. All the ladies as well are sooo so kind ! Shout out to them ??? I suggest this place

Pho Pasteur is good! I don't know if it's the best pho spot in the food court, but it's a solid choice if you can't decide what you want. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet and it was real tasty. I like how it came with some tea. I'm a fan of Louis Pasteur so only makes sense that Pho Pasteur would be good too.

We love coming here on the weekends. We seem to always get there early enough that the eating area is quiet. So quiet, in fact, that the food is speaking for itself. We either get the Pho combination #1 or #2. Always with flat noodle! :) The kind woman behind the counter is so friendly and always offers us fresh hot tea. Thank you!

We all have different taste buds I believe all their foods are perfect. These ladies use open flames cooking style which heats up food to perfect temperature and bring put the taste. So These beautiful people get 5 stars that the bottom line!

Ever since I rediscover this food court, I have been coming here almost every single day. LOL This stall is located inside a food plaza / court. I usually order #6 Beef Pho w/ Fresh(fat) noodles. Let me tell you, this spot took my stomach and my heart. Always a Great Bowl of Soup. Service is great. The lady infront is always smiling. Let's talk about price $17 for regular and $19 for large. For some, it's a stretch, the amount of food/soup they put as for me, it's just the right amount. Like no waste. They can prolly add just a little bit more of meat but no biggie , you can always add $1 beef balls and also they have $4 beef ribs. A lot might argue with the pricing but nowadays , it's totally understandable. Ambience? This is not fancy. It's really a small food court. As of today- Pho Pasteur Beef Pho is #1. Whoever sees this comment, see you soon @pho Pasteur.

one of my favorite pho in San Jose. Open very early, very authentic. I also had their botchien once and it is also good.

Wouldn't come back. Came here for the bot chien gion (radish cake with eggs) and didn't like it. The radish cakes were smaller and thinner and not made very well imo. Didn't have the chewy fluffy, qq texture that makes this dish sing when it's done well. The eggs were not fluffy and everything tasted overly oily which meant the temperature was not high enough during the initial frying process. The pho broth was decent though more sour than other broths but the meat was stingy and quality.

Only tried the bot chien Uniquely thin layer crispy Comes with ponzo like dipping sauce with pickled carrots dailon Lots of fresh green onions Option to add sriracha Inside good court of lion plaza- the asian market/ plaza You get a buzzer while waiting

Goes to phở eatery and doesn't order phở.That's me!Cuz BBH over phở on any day but I didn't order that either at Phở Pasteur. I'm that weirdo that's came for an app but not just any basic Viet app you can find everywhere.Bột Chiên Giòn: Crispy Rice Flour Cake & Eggs. Iykyk...this is such an underrated S. Viet savory snack. And unfortunately, it's a unicorn in the city which means you gotta drive to E Man Jose for it (Red Bowl's version in daly city just doesn't hit the same way).Phở Pasteur is located inside Lion Plaza's food court. They're open for takeout and dine-in only. Outdoor seating available. M E N UPhở, Hủ Tiếu (pork and seafood noodle soup), BBH (spicy beef noodle soup), Bún Riêu (crab noodle soup), Bò Kho (beef stew), Bò Lúc Lắc (shaking beef), Bột Chiên Giòn (crispy rice flour cake & eggs), and Bánh Kẹp Lá Dứa (pandan waffle). Complimentary hot tea provided for dine-in. Cc's accepted. F O O D* #14 Bột Chiên Giòn: Crispy Rice Flour Cake & Eggs (Large - $15): tinyurl.com/3vtb3a52Crunchy rice flour cakes enveloped by an omelette topped with scallion oil and served with a sweet soy dipping sauce. The owner said, they made it extra crispy for me. I didn't request it extra crispy so the rice cakes lost its fluffy soft center to contrast the crispy browned crust. The sweet soy was watered down, missing a sweet tang so we used nước chấm from the other eatery we ordered from for dipping. Don't get me wrong, the bột chiên giòn was still good just not my ideal texture. S E R V I C EVery friendly owner. They give you a buzzer which worked fine outside. Order was ready in about 10-12 minutes as quoted. A M B I A N C ERun down, dingy food court. It hasn't changed since I was a kid eons ago. You come here strictly for the food, not the vibes. P A R K I N GChallenging parking during peak hours but totally doable before 12 pm on the weekends. Overall, tasty bột chiên giòn. Would order again but will make sure to specify not extra crispy.

My brother disregarded that it was a pho restaurant and ordered bu luc lac (shaking beef) instead. Still he seemed to like it, the surprise was it was fried with jalapeno so the seeds were a good kick. I'll probably try the pho next time we are around. Service was nice.
