First time here! I liked how we order from the kiosk and get a text when our food is ready. There was no service interaction. I just got a small snack of the spring rolls. They tasted fresh and good! I liked how each roll was individually wrapped. The shrimp and meat tasted fresh too I did not like the peanut sauce! It was sooooo so watery. Because it was watery, it didnt have that good flavor to it. Price point: I think it's a tad on the expensive part tbh it is down town in San Pedro's so I guess it's fine Will try the other food items!

I had the Pad Thai, the shrimp in it was terrible. They tasted frozen and old. Without the shrimp it would have been better, but you can't ask for modifications to the plate. Used to go there for lunch since it's so close to work. I won't be returning

We came here on a weekday evening for dinner. It is located indoors in a small plaza. The ambiance in the plaza was warm and lively. The ordering is done through the kiosk and you pick up the food once you get a text. There was no line and we were able to order and get our food pretty quickly.I ordered the BBQ Chicken Banh Mi Sandwich. It was okay - there was just way too much bread and too little ingredients and fillings. I felt like I was just eating mostly bread and couldn't get much of the fillings. Price-wise, it was $10 for the entire sandwich which was good given the big portion size.Overall, while the ambiance and the service was good, the food was okay - the price and portion were good, but I could only mostly taste the bread and not really the fillings.

I was excited to try this place since it was in San Pedro Square. The service was okay; she did recommend a customized type of Pho that I wanted which was nice. I didn't like that it was served as a to-go style when I was dining in at the Square but I understand why; just not what I was hoping for. Ordered the vegetarian egg rolls, those were great. The pho was good but not the vegetables I expected and I wasn't able to customize the flavors in the broth as much since they didn't provide all the fixings like normal. It satisfied the craving and was good while eating it but I don't think I'll return for Pho again. Their was a lingering after taste I didn't care for.

So many options at this food market in San Jose. I got the garlic noodles because you really can't go wrong with garlic. Wasn't a huge fan of the seafood so if I come again I'd swap it with another meat. They have live music 6 nights a week and east street parking. There's also a paid parking garage next door.

I did enjoy my lunch here though there was nothing really exceptional. I got one of those noodle salads and it was fine, dressing was decent, nothing super memorable. My mom got the pad thai and I actually thought that was pretty delicious. We got the crab rangoon which was delicious though nothing super inventive either. I would probably try this place again but I think there are more exciting choices at San Pedro Square.

Omg I just ordered food for delivery from here. All I can say is Run and run as hard as you can. Don't ever go here. I can't believe they have the Audacity to call them self Phenomenal when their pho is the worst pho I have ever eaten in my whole 36 years of existence . Their pho has literally 4 pieces of thinly tai that's already been cooked and their noodles tasted and smell like some pre package noodles from god knows where. How the hell is this place still in business. Here's pictures for proof

Used to be pretty good. Now the portion sizes are tiny, and the quality has gone down significantly. Beef pho is my go to here, but recently they have reduced the overall portion sizes and meat portions, and downgraded the rice noodles to rice noodles made with wheat. I'm gluten sensitive, and to my surprise I was met with a gnarly wheat induced head and stomach ache after my pho tonight. Not cool.

The Pad Thai here is honestly SO good!! I make a beeline for this place every time I am in San Pedro. The Pad Thai is flavorful with shrimp, chicken and tofu. The meat is perfectly cooked & incorporated into the noodles -- no rubbery texture. For me, the real star is the fried tofu. They also include a small side of peanuts and top the dish with bean sprouts & jalapeños. Food is served hot, but sometimes it's a bit of a wait based on crowd. Also, wish I could customize spice level!

Phonomenal is in San Pedro Square market and is a Vietnamese leaning pan-Asain stall. One of my group got spam musubis from Phonomenal, which were pretty good. Thick slices of spam and a smear of teriyaki-ish sauce.I'd give their other dishes a try, if I was back in the area.

Food Review: Went here the other night with my partner and admit I was sorely disappointed. For a place that has the word pho in the name, it has very limited options for pho. The noodles were clumped like they were precooked and had sat and stuck together, the meat was thick and tough. The soup broth was ok. For food that took 20+ minutes to be prepared, I am sorely disappointed. My best bet is that they had broth prepared and had microwaved the whole thing counting on their customers to mix and enjoy with a lot of alcohol to not notice the taste. I will say the menu was varied so maybe try something besides the pho? And drink alcohol to numb your taste buds if you don't like it that much. Location Review: This is located in San Pedro Square so I'd recommend parking in the garage right next to it. There are multiple floors and a count of how many spaces are available. You'll need to look for the spaces yourself as there aren't lights to tell you what spaces are available. That being said, the first 90 minutes are free so just stop by the pay station before you get to your car, and you'll be good to go if it is less than 90 minutes! Walk across and you are in San Pedro Square. The atmosphere of San Pedro is fantastic. Definitely the place to go for a night out. You'll see a mix of college kids, professionals young and old, and even some families. Just like any place, be aware of your surroundings as. I definitely saw some sleazy older men openly oggling but also saw a first date and college kids having fun. The atmosphere is lovely, alcohol is flowing, games are available, and there is live music. I highly recommend to come here if you just want to have fun. As for phonomenal, take it with a grain of salt and don't expect the best food and you'll be ok.

Food was amazing!!!! Great customer service! I definitely recommend it ! It taste like home cooked flavors :) We had the honey walnut shrimp, crab cheese Wontons, Pad Thai, and katsu. The prices were decent and flavors were bang on!!

The elderly couple at the storefront were friendly and polite. The food was ready pretty quickly too. But the overall food was not great, and that explains why the store right next to it had a ton of customers and they barely had any, even though the menu items were quite similar. These are the things I got: 1. Shrimp and Pork Summer Roll: 3.5/5. Pretty tasty and fresh. Could have used a little more herbs though. Good portion size. The peanut sauce was below par. 2. Garlic mixed noodles: 1/5. Not good at all. Overtly salty, and had no other flavor whatsoever. The portion size was okay, but much lesser than other stores nearby at that price point. Not recommended. Won't visit again.

I come to this restaurant for lunch with my Colleague. Overall, the food is good and it didn't take us too long to wait for our food. Spring roll $12.5 - 4.5/5 very good combination of ingredients, very large rolls. Wonton Noodle Soup $14- 3.5/5 oversalty, wonton tastes fresh though. Thai Boba Tea $5- 3/5 average taste, the cap wasn't sealed well, I spoiled to my trousers :(.

Made me sick. And they put mayonnaise in their banh mi. Also the chicken was pink. Bad meal.
