Been around this place ages and didn't go till today. I have heard good things about them and overall they are fine. Their plate is a bit on the lighter side with the pricing being reflected on that but tasted good with a lot of variety on their menu.

If you’re looking for Thai food that will not only satisfy your cravings but blow you away you came to the right place. The food is authentic and delicious. In addition, Red chili has some of the friendliest staff you will ever meet in San Jose. They guided me through the differences in their curries and helped find the right combo plate. I will definitely be coming back here as the staff was amazing and they serve great authentic Thai food.

Tried the Pad Thai and it was so so, not the best nor the worst. Food here can be quick, but if you come during dinner time, order ahead to avoid up to an hour wait. But hey, on the plus side, the staff don’t seem to care if customers put their dogs on the tables, so there is always that!

This family owned small business has the best Vietnamese x Thai Fusion dishes. Their chicken wings are a MUST GET. The perfect crunch and bursting with flavor. They also have combos that comes with a side and salad for under $20 and does catering!

Went there couple days ago with a group of 5, some have doubt to go. But after the lunch, all are happy and want to come back regularly. The food is delicious, fresh and good portion. We ordered 3 Thai and 2 Vietnamese dished to share. Very good experiences.
We went here bases on a recommendation from an office colleague and the experience was better than the recommendation 😄 Excellent tasting food... freshness stood out in each and every dish. Service by Khine was very helpful as well. Overall, a Hidden Gem!!

I've gone to the Hayward location many times whenever I'm craving Thai food. Red Chili has been around for 20+ years and is well-known in the East Bay for their Thai and Vietnamese inspired cuisine. I'm happy to discover that this family-owned restaurant finally has expanded to the South Bay! What shocked me the most was that I never knew this SJ location has been open since 2017! This Red Chili is a lot smaller and more of a take out/catering spot, but they do have about six tables if you want to dine in.
Their San Jose menu actually has some dishes that I haven't seen at the Hayward location too! THE LAAB WINGS ARE A MUST GET! This was my first time trying them, and omg...so addicting!!
Recommended dishes: Pad Thai, Pad See EW, Fish, Tom Yum

I love this restaurant. Today i was feeling under the weather and my order had special instructions. Tiffany took my order and when i received it. Everything was perfect. I ordered green curry with beef. I upgraded to coconut rice. It was something i will get again. Taro Egg rolls are so tasty and green tea with lime calmed my stomache.I immediately feel better. Thank you Red Chili 🌶️ for outstanding food and service.

Clean seating area, good food, friendly staff. The owner is really nice.
