Was here for drinks and I order a glass of wine and he get me my wine on a glass ? and I drunk it when that finished. I ordered another glass but I ask can I have it on a wine glass this time. He said we don’t have wine ? .. and I was like this is a restaurant and bar and you don’t have wine ?? He take so offensive and start to have an argument with me . And the lady come and say oh that’s the only class we serve our wine. And we go anyway but when my husband pays for our bills he told him you good luck with that .. and my husband ask him with what ? He said her , lol ? I am sorry I don’t think he knows we are couples anyway.. the server could be a little friendly and this place is in Santana Row . You kind a ruin the atmosphere of Santana Row

I had breakfast at Rosie McCann's in Santana Row on March 30th with a good friend who is both a successful executive and a fellow Church member. We had different things, but both thought the breakfast was outstanding. This is the second time we've met on Saturday for breakfast in the last few months. Rosie McCann's will be our primary spot for breakfasts in the future. I live a half mile from Santana Row so it is easy for me to walk to Rosie McCann's. I have attended Rosie McCann's in past years before moving to my current residence. The service is always prompt and effective. I will recommend Rosie McCann's to friends for the value and enjoyment it represents. I have been to Ireland, and I'm sure the Irish visiting San Jose will feel at home.
The brussel sprouts were amazing and the Shepard's pie was pretty good. I liked the classic pub feel and beautiful entrance (see photo). I wish the server came around more. (dry beverage glasses are a shame in any restaurant. People buy one entree but more than one drink.. so watch those cups!)But man, I HATE those digital checkout devices that replace a paper check. I want to look at that check. I want to see if gratuities or extra charges were automatically added, maybe scan for any glaring errors. I'm not suspicious but it happens. And maybe I want to contemplate the experience overall.Instead, the server said, "That comes to 95 dollars and..[etc]", and holds out the little device.'Oh, so we're doing this now, with you looking right at me? Ok.' No itemization. Just a number. I thoughtlessly put in the tip amount. If I ever end up here again I'll ask for a paper bill.

I love this place but Don't come here if you need to use your phone. No service whatsoever. If you have an Android (i.e. have no idea how to connect to wifi) you won't be able to use your phone. ( I mean I've had my phone 6 years & never had to Connect to wifi before so I was probably doing it wrong but I gave other people my phone and they couldn't do it either).

From the lively tunes to the warm atmosphere, Rosie McCann's truly captures the spirit of St. Patrick's Day! ? Wishing everyone at the pub and beyond a day filled with laughter, joy, and plenty of Irish cheer. Sláinte!

They don’t honor their weekday hours. We were told to leave at 10:00 (we’d been there since 8, quietly hanging out and drinking)when they advertised 1am as their closing time. we asked the waiter when we first arrived what time they closed and he said 1am. They had kicked out a bar full of people. Very

If diners need help deciding where to eat, avoid Rosie McCann's in Santana Row. We had a reservation for 7:30 and arrived on time. The host could not have cared less. She took us to a high top table which doesn't work for us and we indicated an empty table inside that would work. Instead, she took us outside to sit. We had to ask for the heater to be lit. We sat, and we sat, and we sat. Finally someone came by and asked us if we wanted drinks - dying of thirst, we put in our order. Another person came to take our food order - we were going to share the fish and chips. Those came out - no extra plate. We still didn't even have utensils! After getting that sorted out, we ate a fairly pedestrian fish and chips. Then we sat, and we sat, and we sat. Finally someone came by and I asked for our check. Then our waiter came by and I asked for our check again. The prices are outrageous and the service is extremely poor - need I say more?
We had an amazing evening at Rosie's with our boys who are in college and their parents. Taylor, the manager was amazing in accommodating our party of 27, to Issac who waited on us with kindness and patience , to the manager on duty who made sure we were well taken care of to the food which was super and had plenty of options for everyone! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Place looks rundown. Needs a major makeover or change of name/ownership. Food is average, considering its bar food. Service could be better, servers could be a bit more attentive/friendly. It’s a bar so I’d say not kid-friendly. Come during the day. Night crowd can be rowdy, sometimes guests can be disrespectful.

The food is good. corned beef is the best I have had locally. The brunch is really good, bangers and mash yummy. But the best is Friday when they have live music.

Last Saturday went there around 1 am and security guys were acting like scum bags. Told me to pay $20 entrance fee and when I asked for receipt they told me to go home. Wow really? When I asked for manager one told me he is a manager and sent me home again lol. I think he did not realized he lives now in US not in Mexico.

We had a reservation but was not allowed to stay inside because the after party was going to start. Then my drink was knocked off by the server so I asked for a replacement which I was charged for.
