While the food was delicious tor the rest of my party, I ordered the ribs and chicken. I got 3 extremely small ribs and the chicken was charbroiled and a bit hard to eat. The rice pilaf was delicious and the service was good.

Food was expensive and not that great. My steak was small and over cooked. Out of pepsi. I ordered a peach lemonade and got an empty glass. Shrimp was not good either. Do not recommend.

It is what it is, it's a sizzler, not A high end, wagu beef, Michelin star, experience. But it is one of my favorite places to eat since I was a kid. I loved that they brought back the chicken wings back in the salad bar, yum.

I was told the San Jose Sizzler Rocks like there's no tomorrow! So, when my old pal Stinky Wedemeyer moved just two blocks away from the Sizzler, and needed help moving his big freezer ..I was all in, providing he spot for dinner! Well, it was an all day job moving his walk-in freezer, because we had to take the garage door off to get it in! But...It was worth it, because the filet mignon and everything else was Amazing! Cooked perfectly, and as tender as your first girlfriend!
5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

New ownership. New rules regarding add-on salad bar. One plate only, no soup. The owner was walking amongst customers, No greetings, but watching in an accusatory manner. Sever was stressed. Food quality declined. Jumbo shrimp has shrunk. Order all you can eat shrimp and hope you get a refill.
We get that prices increased due to inflation, but won't tolerate rude owners, stingy policies, and lack of customer service.
My local family and friends used to frequent Aborn/Cap Exp. Now they rather save money , drive past Sizzler and eat at mid-tier restaurants.
My second to last visit, saw someone sneeze at the salad bar, below the sneeze guard. About 4 of us saw this and reported the issue.
My last visit was for my friend's birthday. This was a terrible experience for us. She was a regular and treated like a criminal.
Another straw is all the electric charging stations in the same parking lot.
