Mediocre at best. First experience with SB but as over priced burgers go, this is right down there. Waited for 15 mins for my order so I assume it was fresh but with cold fries and overcooked patties it’s a hard no from me.
For an airport burger, this one is not bad at all. The milkshakes are also quite reasonable. These are no culinary highlights, but not bad either. Good options if you have to wait in the airport and are hungry.
Had a 2HR layover at SCJ and walked the terminal to see what food spots they have. Coming from Hawaii I wasn't feeling the whole Trader Vic spot. The ramen spot had bad ratings, so Smash Burger it was.One thing I didn't like was there wasn't a combo meal(at least at SCJ). I bought the specialty truffle mushroom burger, garlic tots and drink.
