Dropped by here while bar-hopping with my friends (pre-COVID) - I loved the decor. Kind of fun, flirty, chic; it reminds me of LA. It's set up for IG photos. The bar is to the right when you walk in, and on the left is sitting. Towards the back, there was a DJ and a dance floor. It didn't seem very inviting/exciting, so we stuck with just grabbing drinks. We got our drinks quickly and the bar was not overly crowded. I liked the Kamikaze shots we had. There was a pretty drink that my friend got for me, but I completely forgot the name - if someone knows, lmk! (Pom Pom maybe?) I would like to come back and try their food during the day time, once everything is relatively normal again and we can sit down inside. On a side note, Google says they are permanently closed, but Yelp says they will reopen 3/1, so that's good to know.

It's my favorite place in the city. Every time someone asks me "where should we go.... for dinner? For drinks? For my birthday? For hosting a party? For a work happy hour? For an interview? For a holiday party?" My answer is Social Lady- literally every time. It's kind of a joke in my friends group how much I go to this place and love this place lol. Love the staff, the vibes, the music, the drinks, the plates, everything. Can't wait for their club to open back up! I can go on and on.... all you need to know is that this is the best bar in San Jose, period.

This is a post COVID review I heard about Social Lady a while back but never had the opportunity to check it out. I believe the owners of Social Lady also run 3rd and Bourbon. My roommates actually stopped by earlier in the month and they enjoyed their time so when they decided to go back a couple weeks later I joined. They've got outdoor seating, indoor seating in the booth that outline the indoor space and covered patio seating. Everything was spread out decently. The experience was fun, given that I hadn't been out anywhere since lock down restrictions. They had a DJ and were doing both food and drink service. They have a decent sized cocktail and you can tell that someone put effort into building the drinks on the menu. Definitely more cocktails than basic mixed drinks. I started off with an bourbon old fashioned. It was a good old fashioned, balanced on the bitters, touch of citrus and a real cherry. The second drink I got was the Tex Mex. It's a spicy, herbal drink that has whiskey, tequila, jalapeño and cilantro. The heat is there for sure and with the cilantro it drinks like a summer cocktail. I'd make a few tweaks if I was mixing it at home but overall its a nice cocktail. The service was friendly and pretty quick. In a post covid world the atmosphere was nice, good music and drinks with friends. In regards to COVID I felt like they did a good job and tried, to the best of their ability, to minimize risk. Venturing out in any social setting has some inherent risk but the night I was there I felt that they did what they could. Overall a nice experience and if you are comfortable venturing out this might be a decent place to try.

When it's a Friday night and I want life to feel normal again, I head over to Social Lady. Pre-covid it was already poppin', but somehow they've managed to maintain that a little bit more than others. IMO they seem like a safe and sanitary spot to go to. I love coming during happy hour 6-8 PM. The drinks are delicious, and for bar food--it's pretty freaking good. I've come here for dinner before and was satisfied. Well...maybe it was the drinks that helped with that... No their food is actually really good, no alcohol needed. :) Honorable mention: Cucumber lady! Best drink everrr. Give it a shot! Shoutout to Beeh for her great service and always checking on us during HH! :)

Blessed to live next door to this place. They offer full breakfast and mimosa's. During COVID they have expanded the back which has a very nice set up. Lots of string lights; a mural and modern outside decor. They added a heater last week which makes it perfect to eat and drink outside in comfort. This is a great place to catch up with friends as the music is perfectly tuned to carry out conversations. Everyone here is awesome and they make you feel at home. This is definitely one of my favorite spots downtown.

I did not discover this gem before COVID. The reviews about their safety measures (and going nuts at home) put them on my radar. I just got back and am beyond happy to have spent an evening there. Amazing drinks, the tenderest steak I have had in years and phenomenal wait staff. If you are looking for a good time you will enjoy it.

The place is beautiful and cute. Service is friendly ! But sad to say minus one star for the drinks... a bit pricy for tasting like juice , as well as a menu item that says "white cheddar" but we got regular/orange cheddar. Didn't send it back since we were hungry
Amazing happy hour spot! Happy hour was from 6-8 when we went on a Friday night. Both speciality cocktails and all appetizers are on happy hour special. We were super impressed with the drinks and food. We sat in a back patio that was super cute & had great music. Definitely recommend this spot!

My service here at social lady was very tentative. Francisco took the time to go over the menu with me to make sure I made the right selection from the Menu. I went ahead with grilled chicken and I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw. The grilled chicken on top of mashed potatoes with a side of asparagus was absolutely phenomenal. Francisco and his team went above and beyond the call of duty. Kudos to the team!!!!

This place is a great hang out !! Very classy and chic inside .. Whenever I'm in San Jose and want great food and drinks this is the place to go !! The mix drinks are top notch ! Food is amazing also !! Highly recommended !

My Godson had his Holy Communion luncheon here. Let me start by saying, we were greeting at the door by Beeh, whom may I say was very polite. Made sure we sanitize our hands before we headed to the patio where our intimate party was being held. Beeh, whom was our sever as well made sure we had plenty of water at our tables and took our drink orders. Now lets get to the best part, the yummy appetizers and food. Everything from the ceviche,calamari, crispy chicken strips.To the fresh green salad . To their fire chicken fettuccine and ribs where a hit. Let's not forget their bar drinks. 2 thumbs up for their Margaritas and Moscow Mules. I shall be coming back without the kids! :)
