Absolutely sensational food! The jerk chicken and yellow tofu curry were amazing and packed with flavor. The plantains were perfectly cooked and the house salad with tropical dressing was fresh and delightful. The service was top-notch; Chef Roy and Kevin are a fantastic team, very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They made our Mardi Gras-themed Happy Hour event a huge success. We will definitely be reaching out to Spicy Roy's Grill for our future events. Highly recommended!

Food only review because they cater to my company. The jerk chicken is dry and absolutely disgusting. Fried plantains taste like oil and nothing else—and are unripe.Subpar rice. Everything else tastes like it’s a day old. I wouldn’t pay for this.

Purchase the surprise bag from too good to go. What I got was 6 meatballs for $6, $1 per meatball. Are you kidding??Do not buy things from this store. Very dishonest and bad food. Play trick and try to fool customers.

For some reason I wanted carribean food, no lemme reword that, due to some unforseen reason I suddenly wanted jerk chicken sauce for drinking purposes. well the unforseen reason is my friend group ripping on backayard, and jamaican food in general. Hilarious right? apparently the dark meat chicken was dry. Either way I went off to find another jamaican place to eat at and to my pleasant surprise it was in one of my favorite bbq places! Hilarious right? the jerk sauce was a bit strange, def not what i planned for but man that was some good chicken. The guy making the stuff is also mega friendly so I have literally nothing to complain about here. Ambiance wise? it's the exact same as mesquite and oak so if you're into that this place is just perfect. I went with the jerk chicken oxtail combo, highly recommend it!

Food review onlyI get this catered at my company, hence the food only review. Most of my coworkers like the j*** chicken they ate. I am vegetarian, so I got the j*** tofu. The first time it was pretty good, compared to the other places that served tofu (think bland as paper). Unfortunately, the second time was just too salty. I am wondering if they use the same marinade for the chicken on the tofu.Hint Hint Hint Hint Hint Spicy Roy! If you are reading this, please cut back your salting of the tofu marinade by 50%. Less is way more flavorful in this case. The rice and plantain were done just right. I like that they have a little side salad, otherwise the food would be too salty to eat. Would I eat this again: sure (especially if Roy cuts back on the salt with the tofu )

Spicy Roy’s is amazing! I had the chicken curry with rice and a side of sweet plantains. The plantains *chefs kiss*. The chicken curry AND the rice were perfect. I wanted seconds. The servers were very kind and I asked what the plantains came with because those were top priority! He let me know I could have them with anything. I didn’t expect to like the rice as much as I did. Usually rice is a filler food, not this rice! It had so much flavor and you could tell it was freshly made. I was also given a decent portion of meat, this is not the curry where you search for your chicken its there, its cooked to perfection and it’s delicious! I cant wait to go back and get my seconds!
