I just went into this subway because I honestly had to use the bathroom. I walk in and this Asian gentleman behind the counter said how can I help you. I said hey I will buy a soda or something but I honestly just need to use the restroom. He says it’s out of order for last two weeks, I then said so where do you use the bathroom working a while shift? He then says even if you buy something it’s not going to make the restroom work! I said that’s not what I ask , I ask where do you go and it says for customers and i and willing to buy something so what’s the problem?? I told him he didn’t have to lie and stop profiling yes I am a African American gentleman. I left very disappointed and surprised by his answer this is crazy .

The website specified that they close at 9pm i got there at 8:25 and they turnd me away through the glass, the doors were locked. I was ?. So I walked to another location and enjoyed it. They should update the time it closes on the website.I'm just saying. I'm out.

For this Subway on first street in San Jose, however for the other 4 locations in the area I have 2 rate at only one ⭐,as Google in incorrect on certain restaurants they clam will accept the EBT ( Snap) card, whilst this location along first will accept the card, the other locations in area ( including the one at the Plant center) dobt accept the card, which is wrong of them and a black mark against them

My fifth or so Subway to review! Pleasant and convenient! And they make their own bread!!! This one is clean service good and quick What I like most about Subway is the small sandwich is good fir dieting as it's just enough to fill you up without feeling bloated! The menu is consistent between them which is exactly what they want. Good job folks this one is fine in downtown San Jose!

Horrible customer service. The staff doesn't understand chopped salads and they made a really bad sandwich. It was like they were grudgingly adding ingredients that I paid for. Would have walked out if I wasn't in a hurry and wasn't starving.
