The picture of the cake looked exactly like the one I ordered. The cake was finished on time and there weren't any issues.

Delicious cakes! Wonderful flavors, and not overtly sweet, just perfect! The Location is great!

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The store was clean, all products and goods were organized, the place smelled fresh and most of all the glass (where the treats sit) was clean. The two staff were nice, one took my order while the other packed. The staff also informed me about their earned rewards which I knew nothing about lol so I was happy to get this information being that I will visit again!! I got one slice of vanilla celebration, one slice of lemon cake and one peanut butter cookie. My total was $20.75, well worth the price. All goods were so good!! Moist, rich in flavor, not too sweet and perfect icing!!!

Today was my first time visiting SusieCakes and I was so impressed by the gal at the counter. I was just picking up an online order, but she was so friendly and welcoming. I told her my last name and she immediately knew my first name, and was very helpful when I asked her advice on picking out an additional flavor. The name on my receipt was Layla S, so not sure if she was actually the one who helped me, but as someone who is also a business owner often struggling with retail help, I really appreciated her attitude. I haven't tried the cupcakes yet but the service gets 5 stars!

The tastiest cupcakes ever. I also tried their flourless peanut butter cookies. Everything was tasty. The employees were all friendly and enthusiastic about the baked goods. The staff gave off the we love what we do vibe. I highly recommend this bakery when in Willow Glen.

Customer service is less than acceptable. You can't even reach them via phone, being on hold for nearly a half hour (twice) before I gave up. To me, an establishment of food service begins with the storefront. I do a lot of events for my work; Susie Cakes will not be getting our business.

SusieCakes really is one of my favorite parts about Willow Glen! The staff are always so kind and helpful, not to mention super cheery, and even when lines are long (cause they're so popular!), the lines moves pretty quick and I still feel like I am given the utmost kindness and attention from a yummy bakery, such as this one! My ultimate favorite is the celebration cake. Funfetti like with delicious frosting - yes! And, it's shareable (every slice is huge!) and/or you can eat it in one sitting or multiple! It's my absolute favorite. I love their cookies (especially the delicious chocolate chip one) and their cupcakes are just as tasty. The frosting is sweet but not extremely sweet (I'm sure there are others who would argue with my comment), but the sweetness is on a level of its own - just right! I love the assortments that they have available, and some of the cupcakes already have "happy birthday" on them, so it's already ready to give as a yummy treat for someone's birthday! Their cakes are all so beautiful and yummy and I really can't wait to try each one of them. I know I can't go wrong! If you're looking for a pick me up, or want to surprise a special friend or someone with something that is sure to make their heart and belly and sweet tooth smile, I'd definitely recommend SusieCakes. And if it's your first time, enjoy!

I'm always on the hunt for exceptional treats, and SusieCakes just set a new standard with their chocolate chip cookie. Moving beyond their renowned cakes, I decided to try the cookie, and let me tell you, it's not just a cookie--it's an experience. The size is impressive, but it's the taste that truly wins you over. Paired with the outstanding service I received, this visit was memorable. If you're ever in the area and craving something other than cake, their chocolate chip cookie is a must-try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

This was my second visit to Susie's in Willow Glen. This first time, we bought a cake and thought it was just ok for the price we paid. It was a chocolate birthday cake and the cake tasted a bit stale, not fresh at all. This time we went in with a gift card we purchased at a fundraiser from a local middle school . The card was purchased for 50$, but stated that it was worth 12 cupcakes (50$dollar value) I asked if I could just have the 50$ applied to a cake as we wanted to give the bakery a 2nd shot. The person at the counter (while super nice) stated no, we could only get the 12 cupcakes (no biggie) . However, the cupcakes were just as tough as the cake we purchased just a few months prior. Very pretty, but also very stale. We will definitely let the school that did the fundraiser know and will look at another bakery for our future cakes.

Excellent service, the lady was upbeat and simply happy to be there, which made our experience quite positive. The cupcakes are on the sweeter side if that's your preference. The ambiance is really cute and clean.

This review is strictly on the customer service. I am usually a fan but not so much now. Today I went in to grab a birthday cupcake for my daughter's first birthday. I asked for three strawberry cupcakes, a vanilla cupcake that has "Happy birthday" writing on it in pink and a seasonal whiskey vanilla cupcake. The worker that helped me asked two questions. Are you okay that there's whiskey in the buttercream? I said yes. She then asked me for the vanilla cupcake if I wanted pink or blue, I said pink, it's for my daughter's first birthday. She then asked me for my name and told me to wait a few minutes while they box it. There was no one else in the store besides me, so being busy shouldn't have been a reason. For a storefront and all the questions asked, you figured they would get my order right but no, they gave me a regular pink cupcake with no writing. I am just annoyed the fact that I spoke clearly and she even asked me a few questions and still gets my order wrong. As a new mother, I wanted this tiny little experience to be special and rewarding for surviving my first year but no, they just simply ruin my little moment of joy. For a place that takes pride in making your day better and bring a lot bit of celebration to every day they sure know how to ruin it. It's not like there's any other decorations to choose from and I wasn't asking for anything out of the ordinary, it was whatever that was available in the display. Some of you all may say I am overreacting but come on, their specialty is just cake, cookies or cupcakes. It's not hard to listen and get a very simple order right. I mentioned birthday twice!

So many memories and emotions tied to desserts from this place! We've celebrated a lot of big life milestones with susiecakes: family birthdays, engagement and our wedding cake! Our favorite is the carrot cake. Amazing staff, service and treats! We also love that they sell by the slice - which is what we get on our anniversary :)

Solid 3.5 stars. The red velvet with cream cheese ( I think) frosting is very rich but good. I think some of the other flavors have buttercream frosting. The chocolate chip cookie is very good for $3.75. Pretty packaging. The queuing theory seemed odd when I paid I thought I would get the cookies right away but still had to wait for it to go down the orders in front of me instead of grabbing them and handing them over. This is fine but it was odd that there were a few employees standing idle.

Big fan of bakeries that are clean, cute decor and the best part... cake by the slice! The staff was incredibly nice & I am definitely getting another slice whenever I'm in the willow glen area.
