I honestly suspect that most of the negative reviews on this page are fakes from competitors or something, because $30-$50 for a meal is an outright lie. I'm getting a meal plus leftovers for $20 each time i go here.as for the bland flavors, that might be true if you compare it to other restaurants that pack their food full of sugar and other flavor enhancers, but when it comes to home cooked food this stuff is pretty nice quality. (if you know how to cook you could likely get rather stronger flavors at home, but keep in mind that this is a business that needs their food to cater to a wide range of people. I might enjoy a cup of chilipowder per a taco, but not everyone else will). also the 3 salsas they have are pretty strong, so if you want more flavor try adding those.as for the rude staff, well im curious how these customers are speaking to them. The tall guy that used to work here years ago started to have parts of my meal ready before i ordered or even showed up, and the woman who works here seems rather friendly and smiles every time i show up. maybe all it takes is to be respectful to receive respect?as for wait times, place is faster than most fast food places i've gone to.another benefit is i believe this might be a family owned business (not certain on that, but i hope im right), so no megacorp middleman siphoning off my money.outside of that stuff, salsa has got to be the best i've had, and actually spicy unlike other "spicy" salsas. place is really clean, tables are clean and such. the chips are high quality, not $3 plastic bags bought from a supermarket with excessive salt and yellow food dye. easy to find a place to park, two massive parking lots that are often empty near it.Dietary restrictions: Usually i get sick from eating chips or tortillas, but for some reason im able to handle the chips/tortillas they use perfectly fine.Wheelchair accessibility: curbs have ramps, and no stairs to get in.

Recently moved to Almaden and was hoping to find a good Mexican restaurant. This was not it. I ordered a beef super burrito and received a chicken burrito with no sour cream or guac or cheese. The lady was very nice and replaced it with a beef burrito (I think) that was cold and the "beef" consisted of tiny bits of cold overcooked something. Based on my experience and other reviews, I do not recommend this place.

I don't recommend this restaurant. Food is terrible. I ordered an azada burrito and was mostly rice and beans, it had very little meat which it was hard to chew.If there is nothing else around, and you have to eat here , be very careful when you pay, I ordered a regular burrito and I was charged for a super burrito, when you pay, ask for a receipt.

I paid $60 dollars for 2 burritos 1 horchata 1 bag of chips.burritos were cold and clerk started to sweep up dirt right next to us as we ate not a very good experience Oops. Good luck stay aware!

Purchased $90 order from this place through DoorDash . All items in order had guacamole and sour cream. Order arrived with both guacamole and sour cream liquid and the consistency of milk. Very unappetizing and suspicious of poor food quality and/or spoiled. Immediately returned entire order back to restaurant without taking one bite. Owner/manager was unconcerned and stated that Mexican restaurants serve liquid guacamole and sour cream, including them. Never saw this before from any restaurant anywhere. Left the suspicious food at her restaurant and obtained a full refund from DoorDash. Will NEVER order anyth8ng from this restaurant again.

Placed $90 order, 6 items. Each item had guacamole and sour cream. The guacamole and sour cream on all items was the consistency of milk. We didn't even take one bite as we suspected a food quality/spoilage issue. We immediately returned the order untouched to the restaurant. Manager/owner of the place said liquid guacamole and sour cream was normal for some Mexican restaurants, including theirs. I have never seen liquid guacamole or sour cream served in any restaurant anywhere. Fortunately, we were able to get a full refund through DoorDash, and avoid a potential case of food poisoning.

I don't recommend this restaurant. Food is terrible.
