I like this place! Good appetizer type food, typical boba drinks. They're not anywhere amongst the best I've had, but it's a cozy little spot, with good customer service and many options on the menu to choose from.

If you're in San Jose and craving bubble tea, Tapioca Express on Curtner Ave is a solid choice. The shop offers a wide range of drinks, including classic milk teas and fruity flavors. I tried their taro milk tea with tapioca pearls, and it was delicious – the drink was creamy and perfectly sweetened. The staff was friendly and made my drink quickly, which I really appreciated. They also have some tasty snacks, like popcorn chicken, that pair really well with the drinks. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the seating area is a little small, but overall it’s a great spot for bubble tea.

I've only really gotten smoothies from here, but they're hella good. I pretty much am here at least once every trip to San Jose. It's always crowded with doordash or uber eats delivery drivers. Never had any issues with waiting on my orders though. Recommend the Poppin boba's, if you're not a regular boba fan like myself.

Don’t go to this location go to the one on the plant this one’s always skimps on food they never fill the containers the other location does and the food is way better

Doordash menu offers hot or cold on some teas. However there isn't a place to select hot or cold. The most basic of details are just ignored and/or overlooked. Sign of the times.
