I pass by this taqueria often and decided to give them a shot today. I’ve been missing out! Under $15 for a carnitas super burrito and two al pastor tacos? They throw in a bag of tortilla chips along with red and green salsa. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less. The tacos were delicious and it looks like they make their own tortillas. The burrito was about the size of my forearm and was delicious. The carnitas was so flavorful!I’m not sure - I’ll have to pop in 6 or 7 more times to be sure, but this might be my new favorite lunch spot. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

11/21/23 This was our favorite place for years until today. Ordered before Noon by 1:05 still had not received our order. Spoke to the waitress was told they made the order to go. 10 minutes later still nothing. Had to walk out, I hate to do that to a family run business but they have to do better. The fact that they didn't notice we hadn't been served is irresponsible.They need help during busy hours. I'll try again some other time and revise my review but you're only as good as your last outing.Authentic food at a great price
Simply put, Corona Taqueria makes some chicken and beef soups that remind me of food I ate growing up. The prices are reasonable considering inflation these days, and the service is excellent.

By far, the most affordable (I mean, circa 90's pricing here!), authentic Mexican food in all of San Jose. It's like goin' to your favorite aunt's or grandma's house for a homestyle, south-of -the-border, let-out-the-belt-a-bit meal. They give you more than expected at half the price of the local competition. The rellenos are the largest I've EVER seen! Order the steak...it's MASSIVE, and under $20.00. Feed a family of four for less than $40.00. You have a hard time doin' that at Taco Bell these days...no kiddin'!

Absolutely lovely little spot, affordable and delicious with great service. Be warned that the base level of spicy is pretty spicy!Kid-friendliness: They have a little train that travels along the wall close to the ceiling. I notice they tend to turn it on when children are in the restaurant.
