If you know what to expect and don't expect to be waited on, then you'll be fine. Every dish has different levels of spiciness, and the only thing I wish is that the spiciness level of each dish was similar across the board, but that's impossible since every dish has different ingredients. What I mean by that is if you choose "really spicy" for one hot pot item then it should be roughly similar with a different hot pot but again I know that's difficult...

We ordered the Thai soup, Taiwanese noodle soup (medium), stinky tofu soup (mild), and Japanese miso (mild) at Tasty Pot in Cupertino, CA, and everything was fantastic! Each soup was packed with flavorful and fresh ingredients like noodles, shrimp, meatballs, sliced beef, mushrooms, tofu skin, and fresh vegetables.
