The place felt really shady. When my sister-in-law and I arrived, the security guard told us the cover was $20. My sister-in-law asked if there was an event that night, and the guard gave us a blank, confused look — as if we were speaking a foreign language — then shook his head. I said, “You don’t even know who’s playing at the venue you work at? That doesn’t make sense.” He turned away toward a group of women in revealing outfits who didn’t say a word. Their behavior came off as very sketchy and we got a bad vibe, so we left. I’ve never had an exchange that odd — who doesn’t know what’s going on at their own workplace?
That place needs to be checked out.

Visiting San Jose and wanted a drink after dinner, very awkward bar.. Bartender did not understand English.. just Spanish and couldn't make a margarita.. Husband chugged his drink and we left the bar counter and a big peace of the bar counter broke off.. 😆

Branham Lounge will never be the same. It was a very clean and relaxing place for working people to come and relax. No load band. Just a good jukebox with up date songs. Nate Waserman owner, new how to run a good clean bar for many years I went there from age 29 years old until I was 60. meet my present husband there as well. Great partys and Holidays with the regulars and our great bartenders. Went ther after Nate sold it and it was a disaster. So sad!
Branham Lounge is a gem when it comes to local places to relax and get away from the daily stresses of life. Great place during the week to relax after work or school. And no matter what they are always friendly and provide exceptional service! There is nothing negative I can say because I don't being negative vibes myself! Each and every person who works here is an artisan in their skill! The owner takes care of his people and that shows! Nothing but positive and great recommendations to a local spot that provides only the top of the line drinks and all around service!

I didn't get my card back, I came back to retrieve it, but they supposedly didn't have it. I checked my bank account a day later, and I have an additional charge that wasn't me or authorized by me. Decently priced beers at least?
