FYI ... This bar is open from 12pm to 2 am ...fix the hours please Diem is great her personality makes this place .. we almost did not show up cause on Yelp it showed closed ... but we came anyway and glad it was open... Great little Dive bar !!!

Giving food 1 star cause I didn’t try it. The menu is all fried food yuck. I don’t think they had any fresh green edible vegetables. Had 3 drinks for $30 while poured stiff bartender had 6. Hope she owns the joint working here 3 days a week with 5 people in the bar… she actually claimed to already had 8 and was about to cut herself off. I think the owner who was doing her dishes. He was able to quench my thirst. Thanks for that. But drinks on shift are unacceptable and unprofessional

Great dive bar located near the SJC airport! They have an extensive selection of liquor and a few tables if you have a big group. Diem was my bartender and she did a great job taking care of us! She gave us generous pours and made us feel comfortable. She is very personable, attentive, and energetic. There is a ladies bathroom but it looks like everyone uses it, so just be aware of that. Doghouse is a great spot to pregame, to watch the game, or to have a drink or two after work!

Found myself staying at the Holiday Inn next door but thankfully this bar was at hand. Very welcoming staff and locals. I was even given free and very tasty food on my first night. Highly recommended if you find yourself stranded in one of the nearby hotels!

Came to to san jose for a concert and stumbled upon the doghouse. Great place for some cheap drinks and fun laughs

We are in San Jose for Shiny Side Up bicycle ride and show. Our hotel is next door, so we came in to see if the UFC fights where on. No fights, but what's better dam good well made drinks from one of the coolest bartenders Noe. We walked in sat at the bar and the first thing he said what's your name and where you from. Next time we are down here from Sacramento it will be our home bar.

We celebrated our 12 year anniversary here tonight.. Stopped in by chance cause our hotel is next door. 10/10 Noli went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.. The seats are comfortable and everyone's friendly. Wings were good for the price.. Don't pass this place up

Want to have a good time like the locals?! Come to Doghouse! Very close to the airport and near downtown without the downtown noise. Full bar, pool table, pinball machine and best of all, Diem and her team! Such a good time at DOGHOUSE, a must visit.
