Super friendly historic locals bar. Family owned for generations. People struck up conversation with me immediately after I sat down and someone even bought my beer. Talked to a local fisherman about the good spots around and the history of the place. I'll definitely stop back in next time I'm in the

Best and oldest bar in Santa Clara country! Frank and Elva are the best bartender I’ve had the pleasure to met! Old school charm, magic and history. Elva cooks great Mexican food on Fridays!

Restaurant CLOSED. Only dive bar is open. While Elba the bartender was kind, they closed dining during COVID, and haven't reopened for eating. It's a shame, this place could be really great. All we could get was a drink.

This is probably the best restaurant in Alviso. I wish I got to experience it before Covid hit and I hope someday I can. They have a reduced menu but the ham sandwich I got was definitely better than expected. I went with my friend and Pet Morrigan. Everybody loved Morrigan, even the stray cats in the area and I didn't meet one grumpy, ill polite soul. Vahls has an older crowd but definitely a friendly group of commoners worth getting to know.

I love this restaurant! They serve decent food, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that restaurant is a professional, I love a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the guests is very good too. I visit often this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend this place.
