Was in town to visit a space company and pick up flight hardware. This is a bar, it's cash only but was an amazing experience. No food, but our space valve was able to eat up all the scenery.
Vahl's is a hidden gem in the bay area! Tucked away in Alviso, Vahl's is a great place to enjoy a beer or cocktail in a relaxed old school pub. Local folks are very friendly and Frank the bartender goes above and beyond to make feel right at home!
This is probably the coolest bar I've found in all of my recent travels. They are awesome and you feel like you are in an episode if cheers when you go. Where everybody knows your name.....
It's CASH ONLY! and they have lunch food in Thurs to sat.
