About Vin Santo Ristorante

Vin Santo Ristorante is an Italian restaurant that serves a variety of dishes, including pasta, meatballs, and garlic bread. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is known for its willingness to accommodate takeout orders. The gnocchi is a popular item on the menu, with one reviewer praising the dish for its puffy pillows of goodness and creamy sauce. The Umberto Meatballs E Garlic Bread is also a highlight, with flavorful meatballs and savory marinara sauce.

Customers have had mixed experiences, with some noting slow service and poor supporting staff, while others have enjoyed their meals. The restaurant is family-owned and located in the Willow Glen neighborhood. Diners have praised the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the relaxing ambiance with each table having its own little lamps.

The menu features a variety of pasta dishes, including the popular Farfalle Al Crostacei, which features perfectly cooked farfalle pasta in a creamy vodka sauce with seafood. The pasta dishes are described as filling but not overwhelmingly heavy. Customers have also enjoyed the Seabass all Acquapazza, a healthy choice with lightly fried seabass, tomato sauce, and broccoli.

Despite some inconsistencies, Vin Santo Ristorante remains a good option for Italian food, with a willingness to accommodate special requests and a focus on providing a satisfying dining experience.

One of my favorite places to visit. Always a great experience.

osso bucco as good as my Italian immigrant grandmother cooked. service great. a bit chilly near the door this chilly eve.

This visit wasn't up to the standard of previous visits. They had no vegetables other than potatoes. The menu was limited. We over heard they are planning a renovation so maybe this is a cause of the limited menu, lack of veggies. We hope this is a one off.
