Yakini Q SJ Reviews
Came here to try it out cause I’ve been to the sf location and liked it. For sure they didn’t disappoint, good food and awesome service! Will be my friends and I new go to place for kbbq!
The service was good .
We tried the premium plan, the food is delicious. But I don’t like the sauce as they don’t offer the sour like ponzu and spicy sauce. They only have the sweet one.
Meat plates are great. The limited meats are good.
Host is like not even smiling to the customers.
Overall, 8/10

Yakini Q SJ offers a great AYCE Korean BBQ experience with delicious food and a lively BBQ atmosphere. The premium meats are worth the extra cost, with favorites like beef fingers, beef tongue, and brisket. The selection on the first level includes high-quality, mostly frozen meat, and the variety of sauces, fish cake, steamed egg, radishes, and green tea ice cream with a fried banana add to the appeal. The staff are good at changing the grill quickly and using scissors that cut well, enhancing the grilling process.
Service can be inconsistent, with slow food runners and sometimes forgotten orders, and communication between staff appears to be an issue. Despite this, the marinated beef bulgogi is a well-seasoned favorite. The atmosphere is enhanced by friendly and attentive service, making for an enjoyable dining experience. Seating may be a bit uncomfortable, and the restaurant can get very busy, so planning ahead for wait times is advised. Parking can be challenging due to limited space in front of the restaurant, but kid-friendly options are available. Overall, it’s a lively, popular spot that offers quality food and a fun BBQ experience, which could improve with better service coordination.
