I visited this place for Kalepache, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations in terms of taste. They served it in a bowl without a plate, which made it difficult to eat. Additionally, the glasses were not clean, and there was some fat floating on the tea I ordered, which was disappointing. The only positive was the bread.
I bought some tea cookies and bakalava, and they were so delicious. The flavors were perfect and not overly sweet, just right. You can tell they really take pride in making fresh, authentic pastries. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming too. Definitely my go-to for Persian sweets! And I will definitely be back as I have yet to try the restaurant!!!
I feel like they are losing touch of service... Halim should come standard with condiments like sugar and cinnamon on the side. I was literally the only customer during the visit. After about 15 minutes of wait, I had to go talk to someone and ask for the food and they acted like nothing has happened. When they finally served it, they missed to offer the condiments. Like they never knew at first place. Maybe training is lacking. This is the place I go to for this dish anytime...
