Zaida's Kitchen

I always visit Zaida's food truck at the Palo Alto farmers market every time I am in the bay area because it is just that good. Her tostadas with slow braised pork is to DIE for. I've been to Oaxaca several times and haven't found real authentic Oaxacan food outside of Oaxaca that is as good as hers. Thank you, Zaida!!

I had the vegan jackfruit burrito, which was basically a tasteless black bean and rice burrito. If I didn’t see the small amount of jackfruit in the burrito, I wouldn’t have known it was in it. It said the burrito came with guacamole, but they did not put any in mine, which was disappointing as that may have added some flavor. I’ve also had the mole plate from here, and was very disappointed with not only the lack of flavor, but a weird taste to the mole.

Best Mexican food, fresh ingredients, and fantastic flavors. Each tortilla is made to order, and everything is made from scratch. Those with a refined palate will appreciate the layers of authentic flavors!

Honestly had such a great experience. I went to oaxaca not too long ago and Zaida’s food took me back instantly. You can literally taste the heritage in her recipes. All authentic and hand made from scratch. Doesn’t get much better. ?? ✨

I just went to Sunnyvale farmers market and I saw the food stand , So I ordered the plate of mole that came with rice and beans. I went to sit down and enjoy it, but the call ? thing mole it tasted terrible it was old and the chicken came and little pieces and tasted awful.,they gave me their leftovers . I am from Oaxaca mexico and I know about authentic Oaxaca food but (that plate of mole that they ordered it was terrible.

Absolutely delicious and they use the freshest ingredients! I love perusing the farmer's market, then ending with lunch at Zaida's Kitchen. Everything is great, I especially like the tlayuda :)

Kid-friendliness: Several options kids will enjoy, such as quesadillas, tacos, and burritos.

Most authentic mexican food I've had in the bay area! Mind blowing flavors! Their jackfruit preparation was amazing and the tortillas are the freshest ever!!!For all their menu items they had a vegan (pulled jackfruit) and vegetarian option (seasonal veggies)! Must try for anyone looking for some heart warming authentic food made with love!

Amazing food! They have really good tacos with handmade tortillas, the wedding cookies were delicious and the agua de horchata. The staff is super friendly i highly recommended this place.
