JJ's is absolute highway robbery!!! $75 for two burgers and three drinks!!! One of the drinks was a water!!!! This place has always been bogus, but now JJ's has reached non non non triumphant!!! It's a shame that this is our towns only burger joint. It's clear that any five star reviews are friends of the owners.

In short, good food and pretty poor service. We couldn't get drinks or even napkins without repeated requests and part of our order was so delayed that we were asked if we wanted it to-go and then one delayed item was incorrect. The place was filling up as we arrived and there was only one poor soul serving but that doesn't help the experience.

I was really disappointed with my experience, especially considering the prices. Based on the photos and reviews online, I expected a bacon cheeseburger loaded with bacon, similar to what is advertised. Instead, my burger came out with only one piece of bacon cut into a couple of strips.
When I asked if that was how the burger normally came, I was asked if I wanted more bacon. I explained that if the burger was supposed to come with more bacon, then yes. I then waited over 5 minutes for additional bacon to be brought out.
Unfortunately, the second batch of bacon was undercooked and not crispy. It wasn't what I expected, especially after having to wait for it.
I had also ordered garlic fries, which would have been good if they had been hot. Unfortunately, they were cold when they arrived. When I mentioned that I wasn't happy with the meal and that the fries were cold, I was told it was my fault because I let them sit too long. The problem was that they were already cold when they were served.
At that point, I told the waitress I wasn't going to eat the meal and would just pay for my milkshake. The milkshake was good, but at $10, it was very expensive. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, I was told there was nothing she could do. I then had to wait another 10+ minutes while she called the owner because I wasn't satisfied with the food.
For the prices being charged, I expected much better quality, presentation, and customer service. The burger didn't match the photos being advertised, the fries were cold, the extra bacon was undercooked, and I was blamed for the condition of the food instead of the issue being addressed.
Customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately this experience fell far below expectations. Based on the food, service, and overall value, I do not feel it was worth the money, and I won't be returning.

So bummed to right such a poor review. We excitedly ordered with 30-40 minutes of no food. We figured it was being made fresh with tender, loving, care. The server informed us she forgot to put in our order and it could not be rushed, then asked us to pay for the coffee we had been nursing. Hungry, we had to leave. It looked like the food was good, but customer experience was shockingly poor.

First time in San Juan Bautista was looking for a burger Pl., Google give JJ’s burgers which I thought I ordered a steak and a classic turkey burgers excellent good taste very fresh Produce excellent service.

Awesome place with great food.
Fried fish sandwich & blue bacon burgers with huge vanilla shake.
We shared our fried & onion rings.
Every item was incredibly well prepared & superbly tasty!
Definitely returning here!
