Recently, I learned of Cultiva and Cali Caffeine, and that there would be a Sunday vegan brunch happening once a month in San Juan Bautista. My wife is vegan, and I love vegan food, so we decided to take a Sunday drive and check out the brunch offerings!

We had a hard time figuring out this place. Couldn’t call because the number didn’t work. After visiting and chatting with the owner (who is not vegan and sells honey) says that the lady who makes the vegan food has events throughout the month. We thought it was a full on restaurant with dine in. It’s not. We were told to check out green thumb farms on eventbrite to see when she will be there.
Very friendly! Delicious fruit tarts! Delicious cafe de la olla! See you next time!

Cultiva is a farm-to-table gem in San Juan Bautista, offering delicious and sophisticated homemade meals. The food is next level, made with love from high-quality ingredients. Favorites include the incredible mushroom torta, the amazing breakfast sandwich with house sausage, and the memorable lentil soup. The ambiance is warm and friendly in a beautiful location with a nice back patio for dining. The shop supports local businesses. It is a highly recommended stop for clean, honest flavors and yummy baked goods.
