JJ's diner was a perfect stop after a day of exploring Mission San Juan Bautista. It had a 50's diner feeling. The chicken strips,and fries, were enough for my 4th grader. I had the bacon burger was great!
Burger was good but $20 for a burger and then u order fries and drink. So basically $30 before tax for burger fries and soda for one person and you haven’t even tipped yet. Upside, burger was decent, place was clean, but cushions on booth were busted haha. Found that out when I plopped myself down trying to scooch in.
I never eat there each time I visit, I only have a drink but despite this the staff is fast and very welcoming.
We feel great there and when the weather is nice we can relax on the terrace.
I highly recommend you try this place if you're in the area.
Parking: A few free parking spaces right in front of the restaurant and another large free parking lot nearby.
