Ciao Pasta Trattoria

Wonderful, memorable experience. Food is always excellent with a vast array of tasty dishes. The service was incredible and attentive. Always a pleasure to dine here and partake of consistently great food and to receive world class customer service.

We had a wonderful experience at Ciao Pasta. The ambience, the delicious food, the friendly staff were all amazing! It's been a while since we've been and I have to say it's consistently a great place to dine.

The best Italian restaurant in San Juan, hands down. From pasta made in house to the owners mother's Short Rib recipe, this place is authentic and the real deal.

Tiramisu was not good at all. Food was decent, but felt like I could've made it at home for better. Also, I am a pescatarian and they had limited options so I just subbed chicken for shrimp. The waitress said it was $3 a shrimp, but it ended up being $3.50. Spend $35 on bow tie pasta with 3 shrimp and mushrooms. I made a reservation planning to celebrate my 5 year anniversary, and made sure to mention it and they did not care to congratulate us or sit us in a more intimate area. People were walking right next to the tables from customers to waiters to bussers. Pretty disappointed.

Everything overall was good but for an Italian restaurant the bread was bad. Did not enjoy the bread

We split. a salad and each ordered a pasta dish we enjoyed. We very much like this restaurant!!

The restaurant was cold and the noise level was high. The indoor dining area is small, and packed with several tables for 6-8 people. We were a party of two, so we had a mostly-silent meal because the larger parties were so loud that we struggled to have our own conversation. Perhaps it would be wise to have the larger groups out on the noisy patio, and have more small party tables in the tiny indoor space.

The Diavolo thin crust pizza with sausage & salami was very good. Spicy & well done which is my preference. The small salad with freshly made with greens, tomatoes, & blue cheese. A small dish of olive oil with spices & fresh bread was also provided. Service was attentive. The outside area is a nice ambiance. Very close to the train station & a variety of other restaurants, & a gelato shop.

Unbelievably delicious! The smells alone are incredible, but man, once you get your food this place is astonishingly good. The service was great, the simple menu was perfect and once again the food was stupendous. Please support this amazing little gem, it beats every spot around.

Delicious! Great for date nights, family dinners, and special events. Same owner for the last 30 years and everything just keeps getting better. Amazing wait staff. We've been going here for 10+ years. The food is always outstanding. The atmosphere is always nice both inside or on the heater patio. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended for great, authentic, fresh Italian food. The minestrone is delicious. The Caesar salad is outstanding. Their lasagna is the best in town. The branzino is an absolute must. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great dinner last night at Ciao pasta. We had a very fresh Cesar salad to start and then ordered the Pacchere and the Ciao pasta. Both were delicious and the portions were very generous. We had a wonderful server Wilfred that was excellent and very attentive. Good pacing for dinner for each course. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!

Beautiful setting and location. The food was perfect. We had a pizza and simple pasta with tomatoes and basil. The olive oil with olives was so yummy. I'm sorry I just recently found you. Everything was great.
