No parking available. Drove through several downtown parking lots and all were full. We found parking on the street 5-6 blocks away. It did us good to walk. Don Juan Mexican Kitchen & Bar no longer exists. It is now Blanca. Disappointed with the food. Overall I would rate it below average for a Mexican restaurant.
This restaurant is closed and new restaurant in its place was having their soft opening and would not honor the reservation
Overall great experience music was a little loud but we were outside and so was the entire downtown area. Food was good. Appetizers 12-19$ food 20$ for two taco plates and $30 for other main entrees. We had tacos they were good.
Our first time visiting this restaurant and overall it was great. We sat on the "patio" section and we could hear each other talk which is a plus! The only reason for 4 stars is I'm not a fan of watching wrestling while eating. They have two TVs in that section and my 13 year old niece had to watch bloody matches while trying to enjoy her food. I would suggest turning the TVs off unless there is a specific event which would warrant watching them in that section. Overall though, our food was great and our service was great. We will return.
Food was cold, took a long time to arrive too. My bowl wasn't even heated. Cold rice, cold beans, cold chicken. I asked for no dressing and they added it and a lot of it. This is the 3rd visit with cold food and low quality. I keep trying again due to location and ambiance but after 4 visits and only 1 being good food, I have to keep this restaurant off my list. Sad.
Don’t eat here. Chicken looks like the grill marks were painted on. Everything is overpriced and uninspired.
Had a “party” of 10 and 6 of them were kids still got hit with a 20% tip I remember when tipping was optional and depending on service it should be illegal to add a tip my original bill was a whopping $304 and after the generous tip they added it was $384 tbh I feel robbed and will NEVER go back! if you want ehh Mexican food and to be robbed I recommend this place if not stay away!
Good location. Nice atmosphere. Bland food. Poor service.
The food was great, we ate on the covered patio, it was very pleasant.
Great meal at Don Juan's. We shared the surf & turf tacos and the short rib tacos. Delicious. The Cadillac margarita has quite a kick! Would definitely recommend this place.

The margaritas are sweet for my taste. My wife and I had one each and then got their flight sampler, so we tasted 6 of their margs. Only ok for me, but she loves margaritas and said they were pretty good. Ambiance is nice and of course the neighborhood is fantastic. Empanadas are solid. The meals were unfortunately average. The asada steak was well cooked and tasted good, but the sides and tortillas were below average. Beans aren't amazing like at other expensive Mexican places. The chicken fajitas were not well seasoned, but a nice portion size. For Carmelita's/Javiers pricing, it wasn't worth it for me.
Beautiful new restaurant in San Juan! Food was great, drinks were delicious! Highly recommended!
The taco salad and the carnitas chili verde were delicious!! Our waitress was extremely helpful and polite. And the atmosphere was festive with music! Highly recommend!
The location is great and the restaurant had a cool vibe and tasty food. The server was excellent and so were the other staff members. Even though my date didn't go well, I still really thought the restaurant and service were great!
We enjoyed a birthday dinner party of 8. The food was delicious. The service was great, the server was always checking in. The drinks were great. Not too crowded as we ate at 630p. I would recommend it
