El Adobe de Capistrano

The restaurant was beautiful, I loved the history. The service stood out most of all. Food was good.

El Adobe is my mother's favorite place to eat. She is 84 yrs old and disabled. Her favorite waitress is Margarita. While we were there we noticed Margarita's hospitality with everyone she served. The guest seem to just thrive to her as though she's family to everyone. My mom would love to eat dinner at El Adobe's everyday if given the choice. It makes us happy to see the joy my mom feels when we tell her we are going to El Adobe for dinner. She never hesitates to get ready once we tell her where we're going for dinner. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Great food as always. Service a bit slow but they were quite busy. Celebrated an 80th birthday & the server brought a dessert with candle AND sombrero for singing happy b'day. Cute!

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. However, the noise level is off the charts and we went on a Wednesday, not exactly a normally busy day in a restaurant. I wish they would open the back patio for service in these lovely, warm summer months. It would be SO MUCH more pleasant out there! We will eat here less often because of the outrageous noise level. All hard surfaces and nothing to absorb sound. It's really TOO LOUD!

Absolutely the most beautiful and delicious Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in California.

El Adobe is our "Go to" place when we see a concert at the Coach House! The food & service is always EXCELLENT!!!!

Nice place but Chicken Enchaladas came out luke warm and Chicken tasted reheated...

I do remember how tasty the food was here during a reception from a wedding that I was photographing. I loved how this venue had an outdoor and indoor area with the roof retracting!

Best restaurant in the area!! Great food, huge portions!! And you have to sit inside and enjoy the gorgeous mariachi band!!!

Dining at El Adobe was a pleasure. I recommend it highly. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed the live musk.

We love El Adobe and take friends and family when they are in town. Usually everything is perfect. My Pepita salad had some lettuce that was not fresh. We will go back. This is very unusual.

Once again, El Adobe doesn't disappoint. Great food, excellent service and pleasant Mariachi music. Always one of our favorites for over 50 years!

As always when dining at El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano, the food is excellent. The service is par none. We were there to celebrate Father's Day. The Father's Day specials looked awesome but we ordered off the regular menu, which is always great. Can't find a better place to eat Mexican food in Orange County.

The staff was super-friendly, the margaritas were excellent, the food was good... a great dining experience!
