This place is SO the best and the owner is a total gem! Service was warm and the food is outstanding! My boyfriend is a vegetarian and the pho the owner made him genuinely had me questioning if I needed meat. I mean… I did because I wanted that fatty brisket, but I would have been just as happy with the veg version! which I always thought would be impossible with pho!Anyway, go here. Oh and the broth does NOT need any seasoning. It’s genuinely perfect.

Pho Lotus is one of our regular spots and has been for 5+ years! The service is always welcoming and the food is always delicious! Even with people with food restrictions (gluten sensitive, soy intolerant) the whole family finds things. The pho broths are delicious and the wonton soup is perfect for warming you up on a cool night!Crisp eggrolls, fresh vegetables, and delicious soups that hit the spot every time.

Best vegan pho I've had in a long time! And my husband loved his beef pho. The owner was manning the restaurant by himself so he could only serve pho but when it's this good you don't need anything else.

This has got to be one of the very best Ramen restaurants ever. They make everything from scratch, the flavors are amazing and the whole experience is beyond pleasing... Please try this little gem located across from Mission San Juan Capistrano

One of the best Pho noodles I've ever had. The depth and flavor of the broth is excellent. This is my new favorite spot in SoCal.

GOOD SOUP. It wasn't too busy near closing so service was speedy. The vegetables in my vegan pho were cooked just right and the soup was so hearty and delightful.

The Filet Mignon Pho was amazing, as well as the egg rolls and salted plum soda on the side. I recommend that to anyone but DONT add any sause. The food is already flavourful and cooked to order. It's hot, so be careful. I WILL be returning

Finally, a broth with a soul. My partner and I both ordered the grilled chicken pho with beef broth. Safe to say I don't think I can go back to eating vegetarian as long as I live within 100 miles of Pho Lotus. Vegetarians beware! Their Pho is the embodiment of deep flavor balanced perfectly with all of the fresh fixings and quality ingredients. This was as good as anything I have had in or out of Vietnam. Go for the pho, stay for the pho, come back for the pho.

This place is amazing. I’ve been hoping to find a pho spot close so I no longer have to travel to Irvine, and this is THE place. All of us were beyond satisfied with the flavor, cost, and proportion size for our meals. You can beat the cost and the taste is exceptional. I finally found a pho Gà that I enjoy. The atmosphere is clean and homie. Do not pass up on this place, it deserves more recognition. The owner is also kind and welcoming. Definitely happy we came across Pho Lotus!

Hard to find a soup place these days. After a long cold day surfing the chicken pho hit the spot. Had a few spring rolls that I enjoyed too. Oh yeah, and the prices are good and it’s right off the freeway. I’m sure I’ll be back.

Absolutely delicious! We made a pit stop here between San Diego and LA. The restaurant is specious and spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and the food is fresh and just so good! We would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Just around the time I gave up finding any decent Vietnamese in south OC, my friend, Bobbi invited me to try this place. I almost declined her suggestion again but I guess I was too tired to drive 30-40 mins to go to my usual place in Westminster. Boy, do I regret waiting this long. Don’t mean to be snobby or anything but most of what my non-Asian friends recommend, are usually mediocre at best in flavor. However, Lotus was an absolute delight!!!Chef owner, Vo came out to greet us and his lovely wife, Mai helped us at the table. I can see they are working very hard to keep their biz going and to maintain high standard in dishes that they prepare for their clients. When I asked how it’s been during Covid shut down, Vo hesitantly said “fine” but when I probed him more, I think it’s a miracle they hung on. Apparently, there was no money left in government Covid fund so he was not able to get a loan or grant during the shutdown. I can’t imagine their struggle to date. Our order came out and the pho that I had was absolute best I’ve ever had. The reason I can say that confidently is that I’ve been around when it comes to pho. Everything was delish! Usually I have to put up with high sodium for better soup flavor, which means I end up drinking a gallon of water after having pho but Lotus was an exception. The broth is full of flavor and was not salty at all. Of course, my friend enjoyed her dish as well. We hardly exchange any words until our plates were empty. To make the long story short, No matter how busy we are in our daily lives, there is always a good meal to try out. I have to admit Lotus has been around to satisfy my high expectation and my need for flavorful meal without compromise. I have been to this place only once but I can guarantee that it is the best Vietnamese Cuisine in OC by far by speaking with the owner.Of course, the staff were amazing; kind, loyal, and cordial. The location is excellent next to San Juan Mission and their ambience is very relaxing next to a courtyard.Hope they manage to stay open and find staff to help them as I highly recommend Lotus to all folks out there. I will always come here for Vietnamese food going forward..Vo and Mai, wish you all the prosperity and please hang in there!!
