Although I still have not had the pleasure of actually visiting the actual coffee shop I have had a friend who brings bags of coffee they sell there. Let me tell you it is AMAZING! When I was told about this new coffee spot in San Leandro I didn’t think it would become my go to favorite coffee - but it did! As a matter of fact, it turned into our regular Saturday morning meet up. Great vibes, GREAT coffee, and yummy looking pastries ... what else could a group of athletes ask for!! I decided to leave for work early today and stop by to check out this place and get a coffee and something for breakfast. It was closed!! It's Thursday and this was around 6:45 am. The sign says they're open at 5am M-F. I ended up having to find something else and just barely made it to work on time.

I've made Cafe Liano a part of my weekends. Great coffee - I actually sit here and enjoy it rather than rushing off. Warm vibe, wonderfully engaged owner, parking and convenient location. I look forward to coming here!

I finally got a chance to check this place out the other day (03/06/2019) after hearing about this place on Facebook through the San Leandro Police Department. The cafe as other reviewers have stated is right across the street from the San Leandro Bart station, so it is a very convenient place to stop by and grab some coffee or tea while you are waiting for a ride or the next train. There are also some pastries which I have not tried, but definitly will try on my next visit. The owner Ceasar and the manager Mari are both super nice and very knowledgeable about coffee and want to further expand their business in reaching out to the community. I had the Liano Special which Ceasar recommended and it was great. Both Ceasar and Mari have plans to remodel and expand Cafe and as a long time resident of San Leandro I am all for supporting local businesses than the chain stores like Starbucks or Peets I plan on visiting more as I plan to be in the downtown area more. If you have the time, I would recommend stopping by and getting some coffee and just chat with both Ceasar and Mari:)
