I love Eltorito. The food was great. The signature fajita is big portion and flavourful. The meat was tender and tasted awesome. Atmosphere is great. Next to the water. Highly recommend.

The only thing good about this place was the view. Our server was great but the food was terrible. I ordered birria tacos and they were the worst tacos I have ever had. I ate one bite and that was it. I’ve never seen birria tacos like this (see pictures). The rice tasted like microwaved bagged rice. I did get the bacon wrapped shrimp and that was pretty good. Save your money and go elsewhere. I was really disappointed.

Aside from the stunning views and atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious. Seasoned accurately and thoroughly. The staff were friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to deliver a fantastic service and experience. Today was my wife’s birthday and they came and sang her a happy birthday and gifted her a very delicious flan. I will definitely visit El Torito, in the future and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to grab a delicious bite!

As we waited to be brought set-ups, which our server indicated he knew we didn't have, our meals grew cold. This isn't haute cuisine, and is really only satisfying if the cheese/rice/beans are hot — kind of ruined the meal. We also sat there for 10 mins w dirty plates in front of us before cleared. Our waiter disappeeared for 10 mins at a time. I blame the manager for not seeing that this guy had his hands full. Supervising the set-up of a buffet was obviously more important. I left the waiter a poor tip, and I wish I couls also have poorly tipped the manager. I will actively discourage people from coming here -- and already called my sister in law to tell her to schedule our grandfather's birthday dinner somewhere else. EXTREMELY disappointing.

We went for Father's Day Brunch this year. Although we had a reservation at 12:00 pm, we did not get seated or start our brunch until 12:50 pm. The process was chaotic and there were a lot of people waiting 1-2 hours to be seated even with reservations. This is unacceptable and they need a better plan. Food was great, location wonderful, vibe super fun. Loved the choices and mariachis!

The food was good needed more selections and variety of juice for the mimosas and not be charged extra for cranberry juice they should have had some chicken enchiladas and steak, chicken burritos hopefully next time the variety will be there.

We ordered table side guacamole and a mangonada - Best part of the night! The waiter made the guac according to our preferences which was so nice. For mains, we did chicken enchiladas and veggie enchiladas (asked for spinach, cheese, and the green sauce for the veggie enchiladas). Unfortunately, the veggie enchiladas came with red sauce and spinach only (no cheese) inside of the enchiladas. We asked for a waterside booth on our OpenTable reservation and they saved us just this! Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating but was running thin. Aside from the tasty food and great server, the restaurant was dirty (food on our table and booth) and took very long for the food/drinks/cutlery to come out. They were severely understaffed on a Saturday night!

We love El Torito! Happy to be seated at our favorite server's section Jennifer. She is always smiling and polite always accommodating our needs such as lemon ice water and extra napkins. Those minor details are paramount to the the dining experience. Her service alone was nothing short of exceptional! The food is on point as usual. Our dinner reservation proved to be on time in spite of grad celebrations etc. All in all we love dining at El Torito's! Jennifer is an exceptional asset to your team!

Review for El Torito: I've been a loyal fan of El Torito for years, always looking forward to their delicious Mexican cuisine. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me disappointed. The quality of the food was still decent, but it was hard to fully enjoy it because of a few issues that really impacted the experience. Service was noticeably slow and lacked the attentiveness I've come to expect. Even worse, there were gnats flying around, which made it uncomfortable to eat and raised questions about cleanliness. I really hope El Torito can get back to the great standards they were known for. I want to keep coming back, but improvements are definitely needed.

Waiter was very friendly and professional but we didn't receive napkins or forks with our appetizers and the wait time for our entrees were over an hour. It also took awhile to get forks and napkins with that as well.
