I was going to give five stars. Yes, the courtyard is cute. However, we were disappointed by their service. We ordered 2 food dishes and the cashier guy forgot to ring in our garlic fries. He did not repeat back our order. We sat there waiting for our fries for over 20 minutes until we went up to ask about it. They admitted that our order was not put in. They wanted us to pay for their mistake and inconvenience in order to get some garlic fries. I recommend their team work on their service. Beers were alright, nothing special.

So glad Fieldwork opened a location in downtown San Leandro! It's nice that we can walk our dogs to the brewpub and sit in the large semi-outdoor area. This is a nice place to grab a beer or two and the food honestly couldn't be better. I honestly don't like salads that much, but I find myself craving the field greens salad. I recently tried the hummus and WOW. I don't know what it is - the fresh olive oil, the smoked salt, the pepitas - but it is seriously the best hummus I've ever had. The pizzas aren't too shabby, either. Fieldwork makes a wide variety of beer styles and even a root beer that suit. Something for everyone! Order through your phone and everything comes out really quickly. Staff are cool and helpful, too.

Our favorite place for Sunday night after working out. The beer, food - and importantly, the staff - are amazing. Everyone’s so friendly and welcoming.

I highly recommend Fieldwork Brewing in San Leandro! Not only are their pizzas good, their beers and service are awesome as well! I recently threw a surprise birthday party for my parents and Fieldwork was able to accommodate and take care of us. Thank you, Fieldwork! We will back for sure.

I ordered a pretzel. Not what I expected.

Everything came out fast and our party had a bunch of kids, who felt welcomed. Our waitress knew so much about hockey and was really fun to talk to.

Fieldwork is always a place we like to hang out with our pup and has great food and beer. Today 2/19, was also a good night, even though some random dork outside the restaurant decided to throw some open drink at us. The staff saw this, and even though it was nowhere near their fault, apologized profusely and took great care of us. These are the kinds of things that bring us back to a great spot like this. I don’t know all the servers’ names, but they were fantastic today (and loved on our dog a bunch, so she approves, too). Highly recommend overall, plus the deep dish margarita pizza is to die for.

this place is a great stop every time, whether you're into beer or not. the indoor/outdoor experience is worth the visit, but when you add in the food, it's a don't miss.

Beautiful, clean, huge indoor and outdoor brewpub that is family friendly with street parking nearby. Amazing beers, quality pizza, undeniably cool setting. Nothing to fix here, well run business

This branch is a brewery place with variety of foods and pizza. Great list of beers. Indoor and large outdoor seating. Outdoor has nice large ceiling heaters with bench and fire pit seating.
Food is fresh and delicious. Pizza was a bit oily but delicious. Kale Salad was fresh and refreshing.
Great for groups, kids, meetups, and casual hangouts.
There are big screen to watch sports/events.
They have tickles orders and payments as well as front desk.

Great place, great location. Came here several times & love the experience. They have an outdoor space that’s great for gatherings & sports events. We went on a Sunday & watched the niner game. It’s peer friendly with a variety of beers on tap. Will definitely be back here again

A regular who has been treated like a stranger as soon as I have no driver's license to show them.

I have been dealing with the DMV on getting an administrative per se hearing, and during that time, I had a temporary driver's license. No problem with all the regular breweries I go because, oh, I don't know, they know me. The first night they denied me beer was because it was a new server who asked for ID. Apparently, my temp driver's license was
Not "valid." I even spoke to other servers who recognized me and wanted to help, but then the manager got involved and told me my temporary license was no good and took my beer away. This would make sense if I'm new and don't know who I was, but they did know me, and I'm pretty sure the manager was the only one who didn't budge. I get zero help from them despite being a regular. This wouldn't bother me if I was new; just move on and come back when I have a valid ID. But this place knows me. I have been visiting there since they opened, why treat a regular like that? Because it's the rules? Do police just go into the brewery and make us all show our IDs to see if they're valid as part of an aduit? Just tell me you recognized my old drivers license as an expired one, and serve me a beer... unless a brewery who has seen my valid ID before is suspecting me for being a minor?? Another time, the brewery refused me service, I was trying to getting a damn identification card, but the dmv was taking too long, so I was hoping a receipt would work in letting me get beer. Again, THEY KNOW ME and still refuse! The manager even took my beer that I didn't finish and didn't give me a refund. What was funny was they did this after I paid and got my beer only because I was alone and not with my short partner, who every server gives a long awkward stare to her then asks for both our IDs. She always complains how uncomfortable she feels when servers do that. Apparently, they have me in a list because a new employee took my order that night, so I don't know how else they found out I was there. I left a nice tip for her, and I hope all the 8 dollars goes into her pocket.

I have been coming to their mediocre brewery because all other options are far away. Their food is acceptable, but the prices on the beers are bad. That place felt so uptight, and apparently, they take every rule serious, including checking your IDs. It does look like their servers rotate, so fingers crossed you get your regular server, and they give your beer.

Last time I'm going here. The only good thing they had going on was the Patagonia beer. Wish I could say it was great, but then they started selling dubious ones, so if you're the person who suspected fieldwork for giving you the same beer with different flavors, they probably did. This is a first for me since all the other breweries never do that, and the patagonia beer was the worst one to have that inconsistent taste. At least Drake's is close by
