Tofu was a protein option for most dishes, and the server confirmed that the dishes would be vegan. I got the larb with fried tofu which was tasty but rather salty. Even though the restaurant was quite full, it was not too loud. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-10
Food is good, but they’re overpriced for the portions and where it’s located, and they don’t update their website. Super frustrating to go to the restaurant because they say they’re open on their website, and they are closed.

An authentic Thai restaurant which serves delicious, savory meals. Food portions are good enough. Service is amazing! Pricier than other Thai restos around Bay Area though.

Restroom issues that will need digging and require them to shutdown for 2 weeks

Every time I have a business meeting or want to get together casually with friends, I suggest Mai Thai. It's consistently good food, nice portions, nice staff, and nice ambiance. It's on the other side of town for me, but always worth the trek. It's also in a nice location if you want to stop by the bakery nearby or the grocery store, too. My go-to dish is the eggplant with basil. It's cooked to perfection every time, and it's always plenty of food.

This place is the best!!!! I work at the hospital nearby and was just on my break..they were pretty packed and busy..but they accomodated me so quickly... the food is the bomb...i literally gabled it down...the host Lisa and server Jen were the best...this was the fastest service and most excellent i've ever had....

Very good food. The first time I went, it was kind of late, and I ordered the pork chops. Unfortunately they didn’t have enough for my order. But instead, they generously hooked me up with the bbq beef. Extra! Since then I’ve been back over n over again

In my opinion over priced and not very tasty. I ordered mango sticky rice and the portions were VERY small. Only a few slices of mangoes. I've tried it 3 times already and this is how they keep making it. But overall the restaurant is cool.
The food here was AMAZING. The waitress Lisa suggested a drink I have never had before, and it was everything I didn't know I needed. I don't remember the name. However, it was sweet tea with milk and some other things. Both waiters that assisted us were very attentive.
We have Tom Yum Chicken, Chicken Satay and Veggie spring rolls. Tom Yum soup was not spicy and sweeter than expected, probably from the tomatoes. Loved the spring rolls and the big size. Staff was great. We didn't wait too long for our order.
