Got a (free!) black coffee, pretty hot and tasteless which i like, very bitter too. Love and hate lol. Got a pumpkin bread i think, and a chocolate chip cookie which the guy forgot to give me which he took out of a white clear bin which is ummmmmm weird bc why are the pastries ina plastic bin?🫠 it was thick enough, warmed up, and very yummy. The service was quick, the guy was friendly.

The employees can be kinda rude and not very approachable plus I ordered a bacon sausage and cheese sandwich and got this instead. Doesn't even have bacon on it.

Strawberry Cheesecake
The barista seemed impatient when I wanted to order and it pressured me. Also he gave me a dangerously BOILING hot cup of tea without a cup sleeve, and I had to ask for it. It was a middle aged asian dude that took my order, I do not know his name. This is poor customer service and negligence of the cafe for serving dangerously hot tea. The tea was so hot that it burnt my arm and tongue and caused severe blisters. I hope the manager checks this because it's not okay. Would not recommend this place at all. You're better off going to a different coffee shop, where they actually care about the temperature of their drinks.

Used to come here everyday! Loved the service and all till there’s an Asian dude middle aged ! Rude, and disrespectful! There was an immigrant couple who was trying to order but they didn’t know what to get! And he kept yelling and fussing over them! I find that very racist and so disappointed at management and his coworkers for not saying anything

Went here the other day and said “good morning” to the man at counter. Got no response and the “millennial stare” back except dude had to be well past 40. Waited 10 min for a black coffee as they seemed to be prioritizing online orders. I was 30 seconds from just walking out without it.

I went inside to order and notice this place is kind of unsanitary… I notated they just leave their pastry out sitting in the open all day not covered or anything. I find that kind of gross and germs or bugs could just fly on them. Also while the girl was making my drink she was asking me how I wanted it made. Drink came out nasty unfortunately, I highly recommend going to Castro Valley location over this San Leandro one. Castro Valley location has their pastry put up not all out in the open, very friendly and makes your drinks perfect every time!
