The food was delicious! I had the shredded chicken and giblets with pho noodles. The iced coffee was a bit bitter but that caffeine kick was for sure there.

Foods are great. They used to be at 5th Ave at Oakland. Bring back retro and memories.

Great pho ga chicken rice noodle spot. Seems like a local gem! Ordered 2 bowls of pho and half a chicken — all hit the spot. Broth was clean, rich, and not overly salty. Chicken was juicy, not dry, with that subtle herbal flavor that tells you they know what they’re doing. No frills, just solid Vietnamese comfort food. If you’re into legit pho ga, this place delivers. Will be back.

Still just as good as when they were in Oakland - perfect silky chicken, aromatic healing broth, and the crack sauce.

I have been searching for something comparable all over LA and Vegas and there’s nothing even close. Their chicken pho is god mode.

I almost cried when they closed in Oakland. So glad they repopened. Same nice family running it as before. More suburban feel now, no longer cash only.

Price has gone up a lot since 2019 - $9 bowl is now $17. But that’s the whole bay area. I can’t afford it as often, but it’s still always worth it.

Refound our favorite chicken pho place by accident! After having a terrible experience at Pho Ga 88, we left without eating, still in search of chicken pho. We looked on Yelp and found Pho Ga Huong Que down the street. The name didn't register at first but I soon recognized the lady (owner) behind the register. Previously Pho Ga Huong Que Cafe in Oakland, Pho Ga Huong Que has reopened in San Leandro! The owner explained to me that after their lease expired in Oakland, they didn't renew since COVID had really dropped customer traffic. So our terrible experience at Pho Ga 88 led us to find our favorite chicken pho place again! It was definitely as good as we remembered in Oakland! Needless to say, we'll be going to Pho Ga Huong Que from now on!

Amazing flavor to everything I had from the egg rolls to the beef pho. I was bummed at first my original spot closed but they made up completely with this new restaurant in my neighborhood. Will come again

This is not authentic pho. Seemed more like a Chinese version of pho. That said, the broth and chicken are tasty. But it just tastes like plain chicken noodle soup. There was loud music and lots of loud chatter and slurping noises as some tables were quite close to each other.
