Eventually someone came over and grunted in our direction to follow them. No welcome, No how are you doing, nothing. A ´Must’ every time I visit my family in California. It beats any Sushi I ever tasted. The food and atmosphere is totally authentic reminding me of a tiny ´hole in the wall’ eatery I happened to pop into in the 60’s in Kobe, Japan. Service is excellent and extremely courteous. Always a delectable and memorable experience. A Must Visit place! You won’t be sorry!

I went in after grocery shopping. I looked a mess but they were very polite and offered great service. I ordered takeout, a spider roll and a rainbow roll. I was offered a hot tea while I waited, which I gladly accepted. I didn’t have to wait long for the fresh sushi to be ready. I got home and ate- soooo tasty and the presentation even in a to go box was beautiful. I’m definitely going back for the in-house experience.

My son and I went to this restaurant after visiting Oakland zoo. We sat at the bar and directly asked the chef for our meal. We really enjoyed the salmon panko, 49ers roll and the California roll. Staff is friendly and and authentic Japanese including no American soda and only Japanese drinks which kids and adults enjoy.
