This place has great sandwiches and is very popular, but it’s a hot mess! You have to wait twice, once outside in the sun to order (not sure what they do when it rains) and again to pay for your sandwich inside. I waited for a long time for my sandwich, which is fine since I know it was busy, but once my sandwich was done and name called, I ended up chasing the waitress through the restaurant trying to get my sandwich because she was looking for me instead of standing...
One of my absolute favorite spots in SLO. Awesome food, a warm and friendly staff, and a great little market stocked with drinks, snacks, and quirky gifts. They have dedicated vegan and vegetarian options, and the staff is happy to accommodate plenty of others on the menu too. My personal go-to is the Almost Famous breakfast burrito with soyrizo, vegan cheese, and avocado. So good!
