We loved it! Excellent breakfast! Laid back atmosphere with friendly service. We especially loved the pancakes.
A very cute western themed restaurant! The country fried steak was very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The hash browns were also very crispy, and the pancakes were okay. The staff were also pretty nice.
They are so nice here. Great place to grab a bite.

Cowgirl Cafe serves good food with good service and is known as the best breakfast place in San Luis Obispo. The restaurant is conveniently located across the street from a hotel and has easy access to Hwy 101. The old school western-themed decor features eye-catching photos and tools, creating a unique atmosphere. The menu offers delicious options like Chicken Fried Steak, 2+2 breakfast with super puffy pancakes, and specials like Chile Verde omelette, seafood omelette, and eggs Benny. The staff treats customers like family, and the service is fast and friendly. While the club sandwich is delicious and stuffed, the fries may not be the best, but kids enjoy their burgers. The breakfast, including the DELICIOUS biscuits and gravy, is definitely worth the money. The restaurant provides an overall great experience, with the exception of a heavy front door.
