Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - San Luis Obispo

I went there at the busiest time and it took longer than usual but otherwise they were outstanding.

We originally planned for this place to be just a quick stop on our trip but it delivered so much more. The sandwiches were absolutely phenomenal. Each bite had the perfect meat-to-bread ratio, and one sandwich was more than enough to leave me completely satisfied.

The shop itself is on the smaller side, but that actually adds to its charm. It feels cozy and personal, not cramped. The standout, though, was the customer service. From placing our order to receiving the food, the staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do.

I'll definitely be coming back. This place isn't just a pit stop it's a destination.

Hard to use more than one gift card for purchase (to cover total cost), but food and service was awesome as usual!

Good sandwiches

Excellent sandwiches here! Highly recommend the Mr. Pickle and French Dip- both on Dutch crunch bread. Ordered a whole pickle on the side and that was great too. Very friendly and efficient even when the line was out the door.

Good sandwiches when made how you order them. $12 for a turkey and cheese sandwich because they forgot the avocado is annoying , when unable to correct because it was a to go order. Reminder to always check you order before leaving -_-

Been coming here for years and they make the best sandwiches! The veggies are always fresh and the bread is delicious. They are also huge sandwiches! Staff is always friendly and I look forward to coming here every weekend!

Blond girl with the star tattoos and nose was absolutely unpleasant. She was extremely rude to the group that came inside.

Blonde girl, think her name was Morgan, working the prep line wasn’t wearing gloves and had her hair down. It was super gross when I paid cash and then saw her grab food with the same hands. I mentioned that I wanted her to put on fresh gloves to prepare my meal but got an eye roll for a reply.
