Kind of a hidden place but the food is excellent the quality is amazing prices are reasonable beer is a little bit expensive and the people that work there are amazing. The red-headed bartender I forgot her name was there yesterday was an amazing and special and awesome just such a sweet person to talk to from now on when I go up to that town which I do frequently I'm staying next door at the hotel which is attached

I'm thrilled to give Schoolyard restaurant a five-star review! I highly recommend trying the "Hangover" burger with tater tots and a vanilla latte for breakfast - a mouthwatering combination. The food was delicious, the ambiance was pleasant, and the service went above and beyond. The crispy tater tots were a standout.

Stayed at the Wayfarer a few days and stopped in here almost every night. Food is great (get the shoyu wings). The beer selection is solid. The happy hour has some great stuff at great prices (ends at 5p though. Little too early compared to other bars/grills. The staff is second to none. Had a great experience every day with the staff. I will say, don't bother coming to trivia on Wednesday nights though. Apparently, 6 cal poly professors make up one team and all have their phones...read full review
