It's OK but we are also very picky. The excessive spring onions on the sushi rolls do not make them better. Pork katsu was good. We expected a more intimate experience, a more authentic place. It was just a plain eatery serving food inspired by Japanese cuisine. Service was good.

My fiancé ordered the pork teriyaki rice bowl, which was delicious and plentiful! The 2 for 1 sushi rolls for happy hour were super delicious and generous in size. I ordered the Pork Ramen bowl. The Ramen noodles were a bit overcooked, and the pork was cut into thin fist-size rounds that were a bit difficult to eat, but the soup flavor was still delicious. I would have preferred the same size pork pieces as was in the teriyaki bowl.

My favorite Poke Bowl in town and one of my favorite sushi joints. Picked up a large poke bowl today just to find that it's about 1/2 the size it used to be must have changed in the last week or two. Kinda disappointed that the portion is smaller and the price is the same. That plus the wait time for to go orders, might be time to give another joint a try.

I visit Shins at least once a week for the past couple years. Justin, Sam and the rest of the staff always make it a great experience. These guys know what they are doing! Quality and Quantity at a very good price. If you're looking for authentic Japanese/Korean food, Shins is the best you'll find in the area. Always worth asking what the special is for the day. Chefs change it up often and you'll end up getting something you've never tried that always turns out delicious.

Great place. Honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had. The owner keeps a tight grip on service. Always on top of his employees. As an owner of a business myself, it was great to see a boss still in charge and not the millennials. Amazing food!Vegetarian options: My gf ordered the Lisa roll that she has made up. I’m not a fan of vegetarian meals. But that was amazing.

The food was great. Service was amazing the server we had was Kenny very nice and funny. We got a chicken bowl and a sushi roll they did exactly what we ordered. The place was very nice with music. In all I would give 10 stars but only 5 stars 10/10 very nice place. Must go the place is amazing and food is great.

I was exploring downtown Thursday when I stumbled across this restaurant and OMG let me tell you i had the best tuna poke bowl ever! The tuna was so fresh and delicious. I ordered on the kiosk inside and waited about 20min. It was very easy.Parking: You can park on the street if ur lucky or park in the parking structure that’s a block-ish away
The food was great. I am a sushi enthusist, and the fish on the Nignigiri was amazing, fresh, and more actual fish than any other that I have had. The uni and sweet scallops were fantastic!Our server Kenny was terrific, good character, and very helpful.We will be back!

Our family LOVES this place. Sam and the guys at the sushi bar make it such a fun experience for our kids. The chirashi is amazing, the appetizers are so good and I love that you can make your own poke bowl. If you go for a birthday they make it super fun :)

Sending my sincere thank you to the crew that runs Shin Sushi. They are a wonderful set of people and have greeted me with friendliness and provided me with unforgetable dinners. I've befriended Kenny who always offers such a big smile to us and even tried to help us when he was off of work. Their food is also something I really enjoy. I love ngiri and my boyfriend used to not like the idea but once he had it with me at Shin's - his opinion changed which gave us another meal to enjoy.
