Amalfi Marina Bar (Dockside)

The pizza is so far the best I've had in Oceanside so far but im new to the area. I absolutely love the lasagna I've had it three times now. I wish they would box your leftover for you and had freshly grated parmesan would put this place over the top. Always best to make reservations.

The ambiance and the quality of the meals at this restaurant are both wonderful. The views are wonderful at Lake San Marcos. For a nice casual happy hour, or birthday celebration at the bar, you will be treated with kindness and fun with Frank as the bartender upstairs. Plus he makes the best cocktails Maggie

This spot is amazing. I’ve dined here many times, and it never disappoints.

I stopped in on a Monday after kayaking and a little staycation at The Lakehouse, and it was the perfect way to unwind. Happy hour runs from 3–6 PM, and I grabbed a great craft IPA from Burgeon for just $6!

I didn’t notice any food items on the happy hour menu, but I ordered the:

•Polpette All’Italiana: comes with three flavorful meatballs and two large slices of bread, which is perfect for soaking up all that delicious sauce.

The restaurant has two distinct vibes. Upstairs leans more toward fine dining, while downstairs is a fun sports bar atmosphere, which is where I dined at this time. There are TVs around the bar for games (they had the Padres on), plus tables along the wooden fence overlooking the lake if you want a more scenic, relaxed spot. You can also sit right at the bar if you’re in more of a social mood.

The servers are awesome, friendly and attentive, Overall, it’s such an enjoyable place to hang out. Love coming here and will definitely keep coming back.

Amalfi continues to impress. The fresh name change down at ‘dockside’ revealed a new Amalfi menu.

A busy Friday after the lunch hour for some friend catch-up. Menu confusion made for mis-ordering a pie that was normally on the upstairs menu. I had a feeling the pizza selection at dockside is different from upstairs. Still good food. Just taking more of a bar stance.

Good Amalfi food. Good Amalfi atmosphere. Pleasant outdoor experience.

Confidence in the place arrives almost at once, before you have fully taken it in. The welcome feels easy and genuinely well judged, the menu is focused rather than overextended, and the room carries a quiet tempo that puts the outside world at a comfortable remove. No single detail asks for attention, yet together they create the rare kind of atmosphere that makes staying feel effortless and leaving unexpectedly difficult.

Drove from Dana Point for second experience here. Worth the trip Mike was our waiter and lots of fun during service. We will be back.

Second time at this restaurant and both times had an amazing meal, the service is great and ambiance perfect

Food was excellent although the focaccia bread was not as expected (it was more flat like a pizza crust...not what I was expecting). Restaurant was very "energetic" but that's noisy to me. I had a hard time conversing with my dinner mate. View was great and the restaurant was very busy. a 4-star rating for me.

Food is always excellent here no matter what you get. The servers are always friendly and efficient. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The wood fired pizzas are like being in Italy. Can't recommend this place enough.
